A controversy erupted onboard Train No. 15090 on October 17, 2025, after Anandi Kumar, the wife of a Loco Pilot from Lucknow Division, allegedly misbehaved with railway staff over a seat issue.
Eyewitnesses say the woman, traveling as a passenger, argued with onboard staff over seat allocation—highlighting the everyday struggle even railway employees’ families face in getting confirmed seats. However, her aggressive behavior toward the staff has drawn criticism from passengers and netizens alike.
Responding to the viral post, Railway Seva said:
“We apologize for the inconvenience. We request you to please share the travel details (PNR/UTS number) and mobile number with us optionally via DM. You can also register your complaint through the RailMadad WhatsApp Bot.”
The incident has reignited discussions about train seat management and the behavior of staff families toward onboard personnel, with many calling for better accountability and passenger discipline.
