A tragic incident from Lucknow’s Indira Nagar area has left residents stunned after a 13-year-old boy died under mysterious circumstances while reportedly playing the popular mobile game Free Fire.

The deceased, identified as Vivek (13), originally from Sitapur, had recently moved with his family to Parmeshwar Enclave Colony just eight days ago. According to relatives, Vivek was deeply addicted to mobile gaming and had been playing Free Fire alone at home on Wednesday.

His sister Anju said she had stepped out for a short while, and upon returning, found Vivek lying unconscious with his phone still in hand. Initially assuming he had fallen asleep, she soon realized something was wrong when he didn’t respond. The family rushed him to Lohia Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Police from Indira Nagar station reached the spot and have taken the body for post-mortem. Officials stated that the exact cause of death is yet to be determined, and a thorough investigation is underway.
