00:22:38And, you know, they really reflected in the stability of our home lives.

00:22:42There was a while when my sister and I went into, like, the care system.

00:22:47And while we were in the care system, um, I was molested by my carer.

00:22:53And I think that, like, it's been really hard to, um, process so many things about myself as a result.

00:23:04When I was six years old, I was six years old, girl.

00:23:09It's been really hard to heal some of the relationship with my mother.

00:23:14It's so difficult because I know that my mum had so much love for me.

00:23:18But when you're, like, battling those demons, like, it blindsides you.

00:23:22And that's when my dad stepped in.

00:23:25You can't help but go, oh, well, my life got better after I stopped having my mum as the active parent in my life.

00:23:32My dad moved down to Eastbourne and essentially our lives got way more stable.

00:23:38And now, like, my dad has truly become my rock.

00:23:41Biggest support in the whole world.

00:23:43I'm so blessed to have, like, a father figure in my life who really encourages everything that I am and, like, everything that I want to be.

00:23:49And I'm just very lucky to have him in my life.

00:23:52It's been such a formative part of, like, my personal strength.

00:23:55And I really am a testament to both of my parents.

00:23:58And I'm really, like, my mother and my father's son.

00:24:01And daughter.

00:24:02You know?

00:24:03I really tried to make amends with my mother since I had to realize, girl, you need to fix a relationship with your mum because you actually don't know how much time you have left.

00:24:11She is a really important person to me and I wouldn't be able to do anything in this life had she not given me life in the first place.

00:24:18So I need to also be very grateful for that.

00:24:21I love being here because I love celebrating everything I've done, everything I've done up to this point in my life.

00:24:28And my sister and my family are such a huge part of that.

00:24:31My sister was, like, really the person who saved me from some of the darkest parts of all of that.

00:24:44I just really hope that my sister and my mother and everyone know that, like, no matter any of the hurdles that I've lived through in my life, I don't think they define our relationships.
