कश्मीर में हाल के दिनों में बिल्लियां युवा पीढ़ी के लोगों में तेजी से पोपुलर हो रही हैं. कश्मीरी युवा बड़े प्यार से बिल्लियों को पालते हैं, लेकिन ज्यादातर लोगों को ये पता नहीं है कि बिल्ली प्रेम महिलाओं में गर्भपात की वजह भी बन सकता है. सरकारी आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, पिछले तीन महीने में कश्मीर में 1864 लोग बिल्लियों के हमलों से जख्मी हुए.. जिनमें 956 महिलाएं हैं.. बिल्लियों की खरोंच से कॉन्ट्रैक्टिंग टोक्सोब्लाज्म इंफेक्शन हो सकता है.. जिससे महिलाओं में गर्भपात और गर्भ में पल रहे बच्चे में कई तरह की जटिलाएं आ सकती हैं. ऐसे में सेहत के जानकार लोगों को अलर्ट रहने की सलाह दे रहे हैं.
