Oregon Ducks Coach Dan Lanning discusses the Ducks getting penalties and negative plays did not help them and they needed to make adjustments and they were not able to do that in time.
Transcript
00:00Just over 60 yards in the second half on offense.
00:08How would you explain that performance?
00:10What did you see?
00:11Yeah, man, I mean, ultimately it means they made better adjustments in the second half
00:14than we did, right?
00:15And we come out and get a stop, you know, defensively early on.
00:17But again, I think the penalties really hurt us in the second half.
00:21Some negative plays that we weren't able to, you know, create.
00:24And I thought they had a really good plan that we have to have more in-game adjustments
00:28to be able to handle.
00:30And, you know, they played well and we didn't play well enough.
00:32So no excuses from us.
00:33They deserve credit in this win.
00:37Specifically with the rushing attack, what they were able to do in the second half,
00:39just what did you think they did successfully to be able to shut that down?
00:43Yeah, I mean, they had hats in a loaded box.
00:46You know, you look even at the interception there at the end,
00:48you're trying to throw an advantage RPO, you get a batted ball when they have a loaded box.
00:52And they do a great job of creating that and turning that into an interception.
00:55So ultimately, we have to go look at the film, see what they did,
00:59make sure we have proper answers for it in the future.
