00:04What does success look like for Nas Wyatt this spring as he steps into a bigger role
00:08in terms of being, instead of being the guy that's 3-4 pass or snaps a game
00:11and really filling in for Mateo and Tatum?
00:13Yeah, I mean, there's a huge difference in coming from high school
00:16and stepping out on the field, especially, you know,
00:18for the multitude of things that we do in our defense.
00:21But now Nas is a guy that has a lot better understanding
00:23of what we're trying to accomplish.
00:25You know, he understands that his ability to play more is based on him
00:27being on the field on first and second down.
00:30Not just pass rush situations.
00:31He's done a great job with his body.
00:33Now it's about maintaining that and continuing to gain the strength
00:35and the weight necessary to be an every-down player for us.
00:38But he's a dynamic threat that we have to figure out how we can utilize
00:41because he certainly makes an impact when he's on the field.
00:43All right.
00:45Obviously, you guys lose three starters on the offensive line.
00:48You know, how does this spring create an opportunity for those younger guys
00:52to showcase their development in the program?
00:54Yeah, really probably the same way last year.
00:56You know, last year we lost multiple starters on the offensive line, right?
00:59It might have been four the year before.
01:01So when you lose guys because you're going to continue to have attrition
01:05and guys get the opportunity to go to the NFL,
01:06it creates opportunities for new guys.
01:08And if you're growing and developing, you get a chance to take advantage of that.
01:11But nothing's promised.
01:12It's all about work.
