Oregon Ducks coach Dan Lanning discusses the standard they have as a team. Lanning talks about how there is a standard for their performance and he says the second half did not look like that.

00:16Just what would you say kind of about the crowd

00:19and how the way that the town kind of rallied around this game

00:22and embraced a first-ever college football playoff game right here in Eugene?

00:26Yeah, our crowd was outstanding.

00:27They've been outstanding every time.

00:30They knew we could always count on those guys to show up

00:32and make it an unbelievable atmosphere.

00:34I think it was really special for our seniors to get to enjoy that

00:36and proud for them.

00:41Seeing what the score is and how explosive your offense was,

00:43it gives you the confidence, though, that your team's going to take the criticism,

00:46take the coaching, that you're clearly disappointed in this finish

00:49to progress next week in two weeks.

00:52Our guys are about the right things when it comes to growth mindset.

00:57and I know they share some of the same sentiments as me.

01:11What does that say about just the standard that you guys have set

01:14and how confident you are in them going forward?

01:17Yeah, there's a standard here.

01:18There's certainly a standard for performance.

01:20Our players know that,

01:21and they know what championship football looks like,

01:22and the second half didn't look like that.
