"Gunfight at the OK Laundrette" - Terry is caught up in an armed robbery at a laundrette owned by gangster-turned-successful businessman Alfie Cavallo. The robbery goes wrong, and all present are held at gunpoint. Alfie is shot and wounded. As police try to talk them into releasing the hostages, Terry tries to persuade the gunman to give himself up while he has a chance. After a tense night, the gunman does so, and Terry becomes a hero. Meanwhile, Arthur is trying to generate publicity for Terry's actions. (The episode title spoofs the 1957 film Gunfight at the OK Corral.)

05:09Hey, me, me!
05:11Come on, come on!
05:17Come on, baby!
05:20Suck it to me!
05:27Come on, get it out!
05:40Oi, oi!
05:42What do you want?
05:43That's enough, you're disturbing all the other people.
05:46Come on, come on, bloody man.
05:48Handle me, mate!
05:49Listen!
05:50I'll knock you out, I'll get you, Nick.
05:51What do you want?
05:52What are you talking about?
05:54The bloody tots, mate!
05:55Tots?
05:56Listen, son.
05:58Some of these girls have got children.
06:00They're mums.
06:01Now, how would you feel if someone behaved like you did in front of your mum, eh?
06:05Eh?
06:08I'm not suggesting, are you?
06:10That you'd find my mother in a place like this.
06:13Well, totally, no.
06:15But she wouldn't be too pleased to see you here either, would she?
06:18Come on, now.
06:18Come on, now.
06:19Come on, on your bike.
06:29Get back to the building site.
06:31I'm the few bags of cement about, eh?
06:33Sorry, mate.
06:34Don't worry.
06:36But don't come back.
06:37You should have given him a whack, Terry.
06:39Teach him a lesson.
06:40Nah.
06:41If they don't get steamed up, they want the money back, don't they?
06:43Some of these characters may just learn how to behave in the West End.
06:46Still, thanks very much, Terry.
06:48I'll have a word with Arthur later.
06:50OK.
06:52Terry!
06:54Hello.
06:55Just to say thanks and be asked for the other girls.
06:59Any time.
07:02I mean, obviously, some of the guys get carried away, but that bloke has been a right nuisance.
07:07Ah, sure right, didn't it, Liz?
07:08Turn them on, you can't turn them off.
07:10You've been watching me, then?
07:12Not many.
07:13Like what you saw?
07:14This happens, yeah.
07:15I'm on round the corner in ten minutes.
07:17Oh, no, you might excite me beyond my control.
07:20It's too dangerous.
07:21What time do you finish?
07:22About eight o'clock.
07:23You asking me for a drink, then?
07:26Yeah, sounds like it, doesn't it?
07:27I'm packing it in next week.
07:29I'm going to be in Ostez.
07:30Pan Am?
07:31No, a sauna club in Notting Hill.
07:34Yeah, all right, then I'll see you at Dave's about 8.15, right?
07:37Yeah.
07:41All right, well, I don't have time to go home and change, so I just come in me working gear.
07:47You don't wear anything when you work.
07:50Ain't you the lucky one, then, eh?
07:55Yeah.
08:00I don't know why it's caught on the way it has.
08:02I mean, it's not like snooker, is it?
08:04No.
08:05Same skill.
08:07Well, with snooker, you have to use your brain.
08:10Quite right, Arthur.
08:11That's five on the trot.
08:15Do you want another one?
08:16Nah, it's a kid's game.
08:19Fiver?
08:20He's joking.
08:22We weren't playing for money.
08:23I'll get you a drink.
08:24I don't mind getting you a drink.
08:25Anyway, you've got to be moving.
08:26I promised Alfred, you can't let him down.
08:29Arthur, I've got to meet with some.
08:30You'll be through by 7 o'clock.
08:31All he wants you to do is be with him while he empties the machines in the laundrettes.
08:34You could have asked me if there were a nice few bob in it for you.
08:36He usually has his boy Franco do it.
08:38But you can't expect him to work on his wedding day.
08:41No.
08:42Come on, where's this drink?
08:47What you having, Arthur?
08:48Oh, it's very nice, Charlie.
08:49I just say to Terry, it's a long time since Charlie got a drink in.
08:52Large vodka and slimline for me.
08:53Certainly.
08:54What do you reckon, the big one?
08:58Lovely.
09:04I really appreciate this, Terry.
09:21No, I think nothing of it.
09:22You've been keeping out of trouble these days?
09:25With all in character.
09:26That's the way it should be.
09:28That Arthur.
09:30He's not chased, is he?
09:31No.
09:32I don't know what he needs a minder for these days.
09:35He don't get up to any skullduggery, does he?
09:38Oh, no, no.
09:39Just makes him feel good, I think.
09:40He's a well-respected man, always has been.
09:43Well, he did me a favour anyway.
09:44What?
09:45What was that?
09:48I don't remember now.
09:50But he's always telling me he did me a favour, so I suppose he must have done.
10:04Oh, no, no.
10:06I don't know what he's doing, so he doesn't come from.
10:09I was serious.
10:10I didn't know what he's doing.
10:11I didn't know.
10:12I was a guy.
10:12Oh, my God.
10:42Hey!
11:12Can't say we don't wash much around here then, eh?
11:21No, that was a very clean neighbourhood.
11:42Okay, man, let's get baby some new shoes, huh?
11:58Okay, don't nobody move.
12:00Jesus, man, let me stand here, hurry!
12:02Now hold on, look.
12:12You're gonna be a dead man!
12:28Get back! Whiskey 315!
12:30No, through that door!
12:32Where's Elito?
12:34The old do I know.
12:36It's a rare exit.
12:38Come on, move it, move it!
12:40Listen, the man wants us to go through to the back room, alright?
12:42Come on, move it, move it!
12:44Come on, move it, move it!
12:46Come on, get in now!
12:48Come on, move it, move it!
12:50Come on, get in now!
12:52Duck back! He's a nutter!
12:54He'll use it!
13:04Here we go!
13:06Okay, move it now! Get in now!
13:08Okay, move it now! Get in now!
13:10What the hell's the matter with you, man?
13:12Wake up!
13:14Okay, Winston, get that door!
13:20Oh, it's only locked, isn't it?
13:22Hey, you, keys!
13:24I ain't got them!
13:25Come on, give me the keys, what the hell you're messing about for!
13:27Look, empty his pockets!
13:29Yes!
13:41Come on!
13:42Come on!
13:44Round the back!
13:45Round the locals, yes!
13:46One round the back, one down here!
13:48He ain't got any keys!
13:51Move away from him!
13:52Winston!
13:53Here, look!
13:54Woman!
13:55Shut up, woman!
13:56It's too late now, anyway!
13:57Okay, mister!
13:58You make a move and I shoot anybody!
14:00I don't care who!
14:08Mr.
14:15What?
14:19All right, buddy, cover the pack.
14:39Hey, Stretch.
14:41We don't give ourselves up.
14:43What are you talking about, give up?
14:45Give up what?
14:46Can't you see we got three, um...
14:48Hostages.
14:49Yeah, that's right, lady.
14:51Hostages.
14:56Get back there.
15:02What are you doing?
15:03I want to have a look, all right?
15:06Okay.
15:07The rest of you, sit down.
15:10Just do what you're supposed to do.
15:11Sit down.
15:12Yeah, Terry.
15:13Really old blood, isn't it?
15:24What do you use?
15:25Seven shot?
15:26Well, the odds that matter.
15:27I'm just interested.
15:29Seven shot makes a bigger mess.
15:31Two shot makes a bigger hole.
15:32I've got good news for you, son.
15:35I'm going to live.
15:38Are you the man that owns it?
15:41Yeah, love.
15:42Sorry about all this.
15:43It don't usually happen.
15:45No, you're right.
15:46It's quite unusual for this place.
15:48You, answer him.
15:56Answer him?
15:57I couldn't even understand him.
15:58You heard me answer him.
15:59All right, all right.
16:00Okay.
16:06Uh, hey.
16:08Look, although it's only an ordinary door,
16:10just talk normal.
16:11This is Chief Superintendent Gibson.
16:16Can you hear me?
16:17Yeah, terrific.
16:19Yeah.
16:20Now, listen very carefully.
16:23The building is entirely surrounded.
16:25No possibility of escape.
16:29Many of the officers on duty here are trained marksmen.
16:33I suggest that you open this door,
16:36throw out all weapons,
16:37and come out of that room one by one.
16:39No one will be harmed.
16:41Tell him bullshit.
16:43Can you understand me, clearly?
16:46Yeah.
16:47Bullshit.
16:48No, tell him this ain't no ordinary robbery.
16:50Tell him this is political.
16:52That's a great idea, Stretch,
16:53but you've left it a bit late in the day, don't you?
16:56All right.
16:58Uh, this is not an ordinary robbery.
17:02This is a political act.
17:04What's that supposed to mean?
17:08Uh,
17:08this is a demonstration
17:10for equality and freedom.
17:13And if you don't move away from the door,
17:15you might get your head blown off.
17:19Exactly what political group do you represent?
17:22Uh,
17:22we more or less represent a broad spectrum.
17:25Oh, yes.
17:26Irish?
17:30Um,
17:31not so as you notice, no.
17:34Well,
17:34if we knew exactly what political group we were dealing with,
17:37maybe we could get somewhere.
17:39Over to you, pal.
17:40Tell him the independent Rastafarian army.
17:45Hey, turn it in, Stretch, that's not right.
17:47Shut up, Winston.
17:47Let me do the brain work, okay?
17:49Uh,
17:50apparently,
17:52they're the independent Rastafarian army.
17:56And what exactly are your demands?
17:58Well, look,
17:58there's an old lady in here who needs a cup of tea.
18:00We need a doctor.
18:01All right.
18:01All right.
18:06Uh,
18:07when we're ready to talk again,
18:09we're banged three times on the door.
18:13Okay,
18:14get back over there.
18:15Move.
18:16All right.
18:17All right.
18:17Hey, Stretch,
18:24you never told me nothing about the independent Rastafarian, Watson.
18:27Look,

18:28aren't you?
18:28Yeah,

18:33Yeah,
18:34you think it's a big joke,
18:35huh?
18:35Well,
18:36let me tell you something,
18:37Mr. Hardman.
18:38Your body's going to be the first one to fling out of here.
18:40How about that for a joke,
18:41huh?
18:43Well,

18:46Right on.
18:47Except you ain't done too well so far,
18:49have you?
18:50It's 500 quids worth of silver all over the pavement.
18:53It's hardly the great train robbery,
18:55is it?
18:56And you're the man who screwed it up.
19:00How are we going to get out of here,
19:01Stretch?
19:02I'm thinking about it.
19:03What are you crying for?
19:04You ain't a baby.
19:08Here,

22:47I think that goes for all of us.
22:49Look, no talking.
22:52I've got to think.
23:05Excuse me, sir.
23:06Yes, sir.
23:07I just had a report from the CRO computer at the yard.
23:10Alfred Cavallo is apparently the owner of the Laundrette.
23:13No convictions for 30 years.
23:16McCann, tenants McCann.
23:19Bit of previous there, sir.
23:20Oh, yes.
23:21Two years for GBH and a three for attempted robbery.
23:25And he's supposed to be the hostage.
23:26Thank you, Sergeant.
23:34Where are you? Where are you going?
23:35Excuse me, sir.
23:36A serious crime squad.
23:38Evening, Super.
23:39What's the sport?
23:40Who the devil are you?
23:41Arthur Daly.
23:42You've got my boy, Teddy McCann, in there.
23:44Your boy?
23:45All right, then.
23:45My associate.
23:46And I think I'm entitled...
23:47I am conducting this investigation.
23:49Now, is there an incident ban over there?
23:52I want you to go and stand there.
23:53And in a moment, one of my officers will come and interview you about any information you might have.
23:58I don't normally have a lot to do with the police.
24:00I said, over there.
24:02I said, over there.
24:02Got any two P's, sweetheart?
24:18I said, over there.
24:19I said, over there.
24:20All right.
24:21All right.
24:22Um...
24:23Tempe?
24:24Oh, yeah, fine.
24:25Okay.
24:26Hey, just leave it to stretch, all right?
24:28You know what we're going to do?
24:30We're going to ask for a helicopter.
24:37Hey, Winston.
24:38Answer it.
24:44Hello?
24:46Yeah, that's right.
24:47Okay, Laundrette.
24:51It's for you.
24:53I told her never to ring me at the office.
24:56Just see to it.
24:58Hello?
25:02Hello, Arthur.
25:04It's Arthur Daly.
25:06What?
25:08I'm very well, thank you.
25:09How are you?
25:12You heard it on the radio.
25:14Apparently, they've got TV cameras out there.
25:17What?
25:18Well, it's a bit hard to say, really.
25:20Apparently, they want an helicopter.
25:23Where to?
25:24London Airport.
25:25London Airport.
25:26Than a jumper jet to Ethiopia.
25:27I don't want to go there.
25:28That's Africa.
25:30It's in Africa.
25:32Oh, spiritually, there's a late Haile Selassie.
25:35That used to be Abyssinia.
25:38Don't tell me about Haile Selassie.
25:40I know all about Haile Selassie.
25:41He was to do with Mussolini before the war.
25:44What are they in there?
25:45All spades?
25:46Yeah, three of them.
25:47What?
25:48Have you let three dopey spades turn you over in a laundry?
25:51What was you, boozed or something?
25:53Hey, they got shooters?
25:54Yeah.
25:55They've got a sort of shotgun, the three dopey spades.
25:58And they're gonna shoot somebody's head off unless you come up with a helicopter.
26:01Got that?
26:02Got the message writing?
26:04Look.
26:05Just sit.
26:06Get back down there on the floor.
26:07Right.
26:08Ain't got much of a telephone manner as a young Arthur.
26:10Just shut up.
26:11Get down.
26:12All right.
26:13I don't want to go to Ethiopia.
26:15Oh, me neither.
26:16Well, that's where we're going.
26:18That's where everybody's going.
26:20How the hell are they gonna get helicopter to land out there?
26:23There's hardly room for my roller.
26:29And that one me.
26:30Shows the sort of people he's dealing with, doesn't it?
26:32And that one me.
26:33Terry always doing this sort of thing.
26:35Nah, of course not.
26:36I look after Terry.
26:37Don't worry about that.
26:38He'll make a few bub out of this.
26:40You and all, sweetheart.
26:42Hang about.
26:47Anyone interested in the latest developments?
26:50Police?
26:51Yeah.
26:52No, just say I am connected with the whole affair.
26:53Yeah, and?
26:54Well, basically what we have here is a hostage situation.
26:57We know that.
26:58Did you know three men had hijacked the laundrette and want to fly it to Ethiopia?
27:03What's it worth to get a picture of a girl who's gonna marry one of the hostages?
27:07Won't he?
27:08Yeah.
27:09Quite.
27:10It's worth quite a bit.
27:1350.
27:14100.
27:15Just for us, though?
27:16Of course.
27:17Just for you.
27:18Come on.
27:21Who's the hostage?
27:22Terry McCann.
27:23Boxing man, aren't he?
27:24Oh, who is he?
27:25Very good middleweight in his day.
27:26One of the best.
27:27Never to get a title shot.
27:28Come on.
27:29Stick out your boobs and look tragic.
27:30You're on the store, are you?
27:31Yeah.
27:32Let's see.
27:33Okay.
27:34Okay.
27:35Why Yankee?
27:36Good job, man.
27:38Good go.
27:39Drink.
27:43Cool.
27:44You look rough, mate.
27:45How do you feel?
27:46About how I look.
27:49Here, Stretch.
27:50How about letting Alfie go to hospital?
27:55How about it?
27:56Come on.
27:57He's a tough old bird, but he's lost a lot of blood.
27:59What are they going to give me in return?
28:02They said no deals.
28:03Well, it's tough on Alfie, eh?
28:05They could die, Stretch.
28:08If we don't get some fresh air, we could all die.
28:10Uh-huh.
28:12Here, you never told me you was going to use that gun.
28:14Think it was just for decoration, huh?
28:16I thought it was just to put the fighters on someone.
28:20You two wanted to be gangsters, eh?
28:22Yes, I didn't want to kill nobody.
28:23What's the matter with you?
28:24You going on their side?
28:26I need some painkillers.
28:27I think my jaw's broken.
28:30Hey, maybe we could get him a drink.
28:33And some food.
28:34And some painkillers.
28:36You two kids are really stupid.
28:38Look.
28:39You ask the pig for something, they want something in return.
28:42They ain't going to do us no favors.
28:45At least we could ask.
28:46At least it shows them.
28:47Show them what?
28:48It shows them that we care about the other people.
28:50That we don't really want to have no one.
28:52He's right, Stretch.
28:55Look, you're doing it the hard way, son.
28:56Murder?
28:57You go in for life.
28:59Attempted armed robbery for seven.
29:02Come out in under five.
29:05How come you know so much about it?
29:07I used to keep bad company.
29:08I used to keep bad company.
29:10Didn't I have?
29:12Yeah.
29:14It's nothing these days.
29:16You keep bad company too?
29:19I was bad company, son.
29:21Did all my bird 20 years ago.
29:26It's when it was hard.
29:32Look at them now.
29:34All in the open university.
29:36Big Bob Whitney.
29:39Big Bob Whitney.
29:43Do you know he's got a bleeding degree?
29:46Oh, never knew that.
29:48Yeah.
29:50Sociology.
29:54Still at the thieving, but now he knows why he's doing it.
29:57You're a hard man, eh, Terry?
29:58Well, let me tell you something.
29:59It ain't so easy for a black man to go straight.
30:00It ain't so easy for a black man to make it the way you did.
30:02Make it?
30:03Me?
30:05Yeah, I've really made it, haven't I.
30:09Minding for a black man, is it?
30:10What's the difference?
30:11What are you doing?
30:12Who's doing this?
30:13It's a bad man.
30:15How do you do, Philip?
30:17That's how come you're a hard man, eh, Terry?
30:19Well, let me tell you something.
30:20It ain't so easy for a black man to go straight.
30:23It ain't so easy for a black man to make it the way you did.
30:26Make it?
30:28Me?
30:29Well, yeah, I've really made it, ain't I? Minding for a bloke who's collecting money out of washing machines. Yeah, I've really cracked it. Still, you never know. I might get a job at the post office at Christmas.
30:42Bravo to Schmauer.
30:534, for par 4, this is just the driver.
30:57Bravo to Schmauer.
30:59Just a little violent.
31:04Delta 2, 2, 1.
31:06Receive all passengers, please.
31:092...2, 2, 1.
31:12Chief, where are you going?
31:17I'm going to talk to the Chief Super.
31:19He might have brought your helicopter and forgotten to tell us.
31:26Oi, you haven't forgotten all about us, have you?
31:29Don't worry, Mr McCann, we're still here.
31:32Yeah, well, we've got a few problems in here.
31:34Mr Cavallo's none the better.
31:36There's a geezer in here who thinks his jaw's broken, and I think we're suffocating.
31:39Why, can you hear me?
31:43Yes, I hear you.
31:44And the solution is quite simple, just open this door.
31:46Yeah, we know all about that.
31:48Throw out the gun, come out with your hands up in the air.
31:52The only problem is, the man holding the gun doesn't want to do that.
31:57Well, why don't you just let me have another word with the man who's holding the gun?
32:02Oh, he wants to know where his helicopter is.
32:06I thought I'd explain that quite clearly.
32:07You people are not going to fly anywhere.
32:09Now, look, we've got medical attention standing by.
32:11Mr Cavallo will be treated the moment he is released.
32:14Yeah, all right.
32:16Well, what about some tea and food, then?
32:17I think it's all to eat in there.
32:20Yeah, of course we have.
32:21We've got 500 packets of biological washing powder.
32:24Well, perhaps if Mr Cavallo is released, we can arrange to have some tea sent in.
32:29How about it, then?
32:30No chance, man.
32:32Well, what about letting the doctor in, if they agree?
32:34No chance, sir.
32:34No chance, sir.
32:35No chance, sir.
32:36No chance, sir.
32:37Listen.
32:38Listen, the shooting, it was an accident, really.
32:40The gun just went off.
32:42They didn't mean to kill anybody or anything.
32:44There was a sort of scuffle and the gun just went off.
32:47Quite possible.
32:50Well, that's something that has to be decided at the proper time and at the proper place.
32:53Now, look, why don't I just have a word with a man who's got the gun?
32:58Sit down.
33:03Okay, mister.
33:04You're talking to the main man now.
33:08Hey, tell me something.
33:10You're married?
33:12Well, as a matter of fact, I am.
33:14Hey, missus, come over here.
33:17Yes, come on.
33:18Now, we've got a lady in here.
33:29Say hello to the policeman, Mrs. Mayhew.
33:32Hello, sir.
33:34Good evening, Mrs. Mayhew.
33:37Now, you think I'm fooling around, huh?
33:39Now, you tell him, missus.
33:42You tell him I've got a gun pointing right at your head.
33:48You tell him to do a deal, because you don't want to die.
33:51Now, go on, tell him!
33:53Did you hear that, sir?
33:56I think he means it.
33:59Now, come along.
34:00Just put that gun down.
34:02You know very well we're not talking any deals.
34:06You don't seriously want to hurt that lady.
34:10So, just put the gun down.
34:12We can continue talking.
34:14No, I've got my finger on the trigger!
34:19Hey, Stretch.
34:21Take it easy, mate.
34:24Look, I know you're fighting a war.
34:27But she's not one of the enemy.
34:30But it's just a lady who came in to do her washing.
34:34Take it easy, man.
34:38Look, I know you're hard, man.
34:40If you don't want to shoot a woman, do you?
34:44Do you stretch?
34:49Do you stretch?
34:49Do you stretch?
34:50Ha, ha, ha, ha.
35:20Ha, ha, ha.
35:50Ha, ha, ha, ha.
36:21Not if you're awake.
36:24Man, it was gonna be so easy, eh?
36:28What the hell you had to mess it up for?
36:30Wasn't your money?
36:32No, it wasn't yours either.
36:33So what?
36:35He ripped it off from the people,
36:36I ripped it off from him.
36:37Listen, they put 50p in a machine
36:42and they sit there and watch their pillowcases go round and round.
36:46They got a choice.
36:47You come storming in with a shotgun, nobody's got a choice at all.
36:51They really got to you, eh?
36:53Well, you know what they really did?
36:55They just kidded you into going straight.
36:58Wrong.
36:59They bored me into it.
37:01Got fed up with people saying three years, wormwood scrubs.
37:06Someone loses a dog, I'm in the local nick for two days.
37:09So now, I'll just throw a few drunks out of clubs,
37:14ask people to repay their gambling debts,
37:19rent a muscle.
37:21Easy hours.
37:22But not a lot of what you might call job satisfaction.
37:27You let them beat your man.
37:30And what are you going to be?
37:32Al Capone?
37:33Yeah.
37:35Bigger.
37:36Bigger!
37:39You've got more chance of winning a pool, son.
37:47It's got to be for me, hasn't it?
37:52Hello?
37:55Yeah, I thought it might be you.
37:59Oh, terrific.
38:01It's like an Egyptian brothel down here.
38:04Now, Arthur, I know I've never been to Egypt.
38:06What I mean is, it's a bit close.
38:09But we're suffocating.
38:11They haven't even sent any tea in.
38:13They always send tea in, don't they?
38:17What paper?
38:18Now, this reporter, his paper's prepared to pay
38:21a very handsome son,
38:22if he can do an interview over the phone.
38:24Hold on, Arthur.
38:25I know all that,
38:26but look, just listen to me for a minute.
38:27We're talking about real dough.
38:29Be enough to pay for their defence.
38:31A nice bit in it for you.
38:33Terry, listen to what I'm telling you.
38:36Oh, be fair,
38:37I put a lot of time in on this.
38:40Now, don't be so selfish, Terry.
38:41I know your lives are in danger,
38:43but that's the whole point of the interview, ain't it?
38:45It's a big story, see?
38:46Lizzie's got her photo on the front page this morning.
38:49Liz who?
38:49The bird you had a meet with last night.
38:52What's she going to do with her?
38:55She was upset, think how I felt.
38:57Look, we ain't interested in your girlfriends, all right?
39:00Now, what, Liz Peppers?
39:00What's he talking about?
39:03Well, you talk to him.
39:04You're the one who's running things.
39:05Okay, mister.
39:09You got a deal to make with me, all right?
39:11Look, I'm trying to explain to Terry
39:14that as long as you don't talk to nobody else,
39:19this paper will pay you...
39:22Hello?
39:24Hello, can you hear me?
39:26Hello?
39:26Cut us off.
39:30Sit down.
39:34Do you think I wasn't going to be bigger?
39:37Well, that was the newspapers.
39:39Good morning.
39:39This is Chief Superendent Gibson again.
39:42How are we this morning, friends?
39:43How is Mr. Cavallo?
39:45He's okay.
39:47He's in a bad way, Stretch, and you know it.
39:49What about our helicopter?
39:51Now, look, my friend, I've explained to you already,
39:53you people are not travelling anywhere.
39:55However, we are prepared to let you have some tea.
39:57I'll stuff you a tea, man.
39:59Stretch, a cup of tea?
40:00Yeah.
40:00Look, the meeting's over.
40:02We have nothing more to say to you.
40:04Very well, sir.
40:05We've got all the time in the world.
40:06Look, Stretch, I don't see why I can't have a cup of tea.
40:09You're really stupid, Winston.
40:11They put a drug in.
40:12Now, what happens?
40:13Oh, I open the door.
40:14And you know what they do, like they did to the German aeroplane?
40:17They're throwing the grenades.
40:18It stuns everybody.
40:19Truth is, Stretch don't care.
40:22What are you talking about?
40:25You don't care what happens to anybody.
40:27And them out there, they don't care either, do they?
40:30Because whatever happens in here, they're all right.
40:33And all because you want to make a name for yourself.
40:36Big time gangster, that.
40:39Big time gangster.
40:41Listen, son, you couldn't even break into a gas meter.
40:43Shut up!
40:45Look, he's working for the pigs.
40:47Well, that cup's just for you two.
40:48He's trying to make you go against me.
40:50But he's right, isn't he?
40:52He's got no chance now.
40:53He was always a coward, Cosmo.
40:55Yeah, but it's like Terry said, Stretch, the Lord don't care.
40:57They can wait forever.
40:59Well, I'm going to not prison.
41:00Don't I have a senior either?
41:01Hey, Spencer, get the gun.
41:12Get the gun!
41:13Get your daps on that gun, son, and you're in alive!
41:15I'm all right, Barney, in there, son.
41:33No, no, no, no, no.
42:03Winston, knock on that door.
42:17Give me the gun, Terry.
42:19If he's so much as blinks, I'll blow the bastard in half.
42:23That's all we need, isn't it?
42:25Yes, what is it?
42:27We want to come out.
42:29Just a minute.
42:31There will be a count of ten.
42:33After which you may open the door and throw out all weapons.
42:37There will be a further count of ten.
42:40Then the hostages will emerge one by one.
42:43Everyone leaving the room will have their hands above their heads.
42:47You will obey to the letter all instructions as you leave the room.
42:51Remember, they're a trained marksman watching your every move.
42:53Do you understand?
42:56Right.
42:57You get a stretch on his feet.
43:00Can you count to ten?
43:01Yeah.
43:02Start counting.
43:04Ten.
43:09Ten.
43:09I'm opening the door.
43:21Alfie?
43:22This is Mayhew?
43:23You're right, love.
43:27Listen, love.
43:28Don't stop and collect your washing on the way out, eh?
43:32Sorry, mate.
43:33Cosmo.
43:47That jaw will be all right.
43:49Just give you custard and ice cream for a couple of days.
43:51Go on.
43:53Keep your hands well up.
43:54Right, come on.
44:01Out to come.
44:02Get your hands up.
44:03Right up.
44:04Come on.
44:05Walk towards the railings.
44:08Come on, speed it up.
44:10It won't be nothing all right.
44:11Come on.
44:13Across the pavement.
44:14Come on.
44:15Hurry up.
44:16Step off the curb.
44:18Walk to the middle of the road.
44:20I'm doing a sanction.
44:21Right up in the middle.
44:27Now, lie down.
44:28Lie down.
44:29Face first.
44:31That's it.
44:32Take some power.
44:34Stretch your arms down.
44:36Okay, champ.
44:36Circuit.
44:37Come on, you.
44:38Keep your hands up.
44:39Off the curb.
44:42Lie down.
44:42Side in.
44:43Face first.
44:47That's it.
44:47Come on, champ.
44:48On your toes.
44:48I'll tell you what, son, me.
45:00Just as well, you can't do a runner.
45:03Lots of blokes out there.
45:04I wouldn't want to see the target process.
45:06Sergeant, get back to the curb.
45:08Take some power.
45:23Right.
45:24Come on, then.
45:28Get your hands up.
45:32Up to the railings.
45:34Across the pavement.
45:35Hurry up, will you?
45:36Come on.
45:36Come on.
45:38Come on.
45:41And you?
45:42Yes, you too, Macan.
45:44Get down.
45:47Right.
45:50Search him, Jack.
45:53What are they doing?
45:56He's the one that got us out.
45:57You can move.
45:58Come on.
45:59Come on.
45:59Come on.
46:00Come on.
46:01Come on.
46:02Morning, Pete.
46:23Well, that's a turnip, isn't it?
46:25Sorry?
46:27You're going to be a prosecution witness.
46:29Yippee. Who told you?
46:31Mrs. What's-her-name?
46:33And Alfie Cavallo.
46:35Quite the hero, they reckon.
46:36So we're going to need a nice, long statement.
46:39Some other time.
46:42You'll probably end up with a judge's commendation.
46:46I wouldn't know what to do with it.
46:48Oh, look, Terry, do yourself a few favours, eh?
46:50I mean, you could do with a bit of credit rating round here.
46:54Yeah, yeah.
46:55But right now, all I want is a wash and a shave
46:58and a nice big breakfast.
47:01And then, I'm going to do what you do every day.
47:07And what's that?
47:09Sleep.
47:09Oh, my darling.
47:25Take my misery.
47:27Oh, what's going on?
47:29That's it, love.
47:30Right now, closer.
47:32Yeah.
47:33And again.
47:34Turn this way a bit.
47:36This way.
47:36Arthur!
47:37What's all this about?
47:39It's the joyful reunion, isn't it?
47:41Ha, ha, ha, ha.
47:44Yeah, lovely.
47:46And again.
47:47You know the mistake you made, Terry, don't you?
47:55No, tell me.
47:55What was the mistake I made?
47:56Should have stayed in the laundrette another couple of days.
47:59Got more press coverage.
48:01Arthur, we were dying in there.
48:04If I'd stayed any longer, you would have got me married, divorced, and done for alimony.
48:08Poor old Arthur's on his last legs.
48:10What are you talking about?
48:11Flesh wounds.
48:13He was well pleased with you, though.
48:14I should be able to get a bit more dough out of him for us.
48:17Us?
48:19Us?
48:20Now, why would you be entitled to more dough?
48:22The aggravation I had.
48:24The worry.
48:25I was up all night.
48:28Oh, yeah.
48:29Of course you were, Arthur.
48:30I'm sorry I forgot about that.
48:32Besides, you've got all the publicity.
48:37If you want to, I'll change the situation.
49:05Right people, right time, just the wrong location.
49:17I've got a good idea.
49:21Just you keep me near.
49:24I'll be so good for you.
49:25I could be so good for you.
49:28I'm gonna help you.
49:29Love you like you wanted to.
49:31I'll do anything for you.
49:36I'll be so good for you.
49:38I could be so good for you.
49:40I'll do it like you wanted to.
49:42Love you like you wanted to.
49:44There ain't no luck in the go-through.
49:48I'll be so good for you.
49:50I'll be so good for you.
50:00Bye-bye.
50:00I'll be so good for you.
