00:00Hello America, I'm Mark Levin and this is Life, Liberty and Levin Sunday.
00:04Welcome to the program.
00:06We have two great guests.
00:07We have Peter Schweitzer and Eric Trump.
00:10Very exciting to talk to them.
00:11I can't wait.
00:12But before we go there, as you know, President Trump's peace deal is incredible.
00:17It is iconic.
00:17It's historic.
00:18I spent yesterday's monologue explaining why I thought so.
00:23And I think this is something that will be discussed for a very, very long time in a very
00:27positive way going forward.
00:30But I have a suggestion.
00:33It's not, nor should it be, the end of the peace process.
00:38The greatest danger and threat in the Middle East, which has spread to our country, our
00:45hemisphere, other Western nations, Britain, France, you name it, is Islamist terrorism.
00:54While it exists beyond the Middle East, the fact is that the Middle East is the hotbed of
01:01ideologically centered Islamist terrorism.
01:06It's where their so-called scholars are.
01:08It's where most of the headquarters are for the worst of the groups.
01:14Again, not just there, but there.
01:17So until this is addressed, even beyond Hamas, there can't be a permanent peace.
01:26I'll prove it to you.
01:27I don't see a budget request to eliminate all of our counterterrorism infrastructure, all
01:33the personnel and all the funding, nor should there ever be.
01:36It remains a deadly threat to we, the people of the United States.
01:41Now, to be more specific, until Arab and Muslim countries like Qatar stop funding it, promoting
01:50it, and exporting it, and using state-run propaganda operations that are wildly popular throughout
01:58the Arab and Muslim worlds like Al Jazeera, until they stop using them to spread it throughout
02:05the Muslim and Arab worlds, the eternal peace we say we want simply will be an illusion, even
02:15as we rightly celebrate the release of the Israeli hostages and hopeful cessation of war in
02:23the Battle of Gaza.
02:24And who should address this?
02:27For one, the countries that are harboring these terrorist organizations and the countries that
02:31are sustaining them.
02:32It's a dirty little secret that several of these countries fear these terror groups, cheer
02:37on Israel as it fights Hezbollah and the Houthis and Hamas and Iran.
02:43But they seek appeasement.
02:45They want to appease them and redirect them toward the West, towards Israel, towards a so-called
02:53two-state solution.
02:55This is not our battle alone or Israel's battle alone, even though people try and create that
03:01scenario.
03:02This is the battle between the West and Islamist terrorism.
03:07This is the battle between civilization and 7th century primitives.
03:12It's not about anything else.
03:17Other Arab and Muslim countries actively partner with terrorist groups, while also engaging our
03:24country and other Western nations on diplomatic and economic grounds, playing a very sinister
03:30and deadly game.
03:33And most Western countries seem okay with this, as most of their leaders would rather not confront
03:40the evil side of these nations, while embracing the benefits of their economic largesse.
03:46For example, we see some Middle Eastern countries service both perpetrators and mediators.
03:54This is the perfect time to put an end to this.
03:58The fact that the president effectively, at least for these purposes, unified these countries
04:03is probably the most historic aspect of the Trump peace plan.
04:07But the time is right with the Trump peace plan to use this historic achievement to go to
04:12the next level, to protect us, to protect the West.
04:17That is, challenge the root cause of the problem, Islamist terrorism.
04:22And to be clear, I believe the only leader who can do this, who is bold, courageous, strategic,
04:29and have a real shot at making it work, is President Trump.
04:33Our State Department keeps a long list of terrorist organizations and the countries they are operating
04:38within.
04:40Beyond that, we know where the major actors are based.
04:44You can go online and see on the internet.
04:46Many very good groups, research groups, think tanks, they've laid it all out.
04:53It's right there.
04:54Of course, they're not only in the Middle East, these terrorist organizations, but many are.
04:59And it's a good place to start, particularly since we have this outstanding foundation, this
05:05platform, the Trump peace deal.
05:07Now, the president is singularly qualified and capable of extending his diplomatic, economic,
05:14and yes, military reach into these countries where he has built special relationships to
05:21begin the difficult and complex process of unraveling, starving, isolating, and eliminating
05:28these terror operations.
05:29Some of these countries will welcome such an initiative as their monarchies or their military
05:36dictatorships fear for their own survival because these terrorists seek to overthrow several
05:43of them.
05:44I'm thinking of countries like Jordan and Egypt, among others.
05:48Some will resist because they're harboring terrorists or have been funding terrorists or somehow
05:55promoting terrorists and have relationships and understanding with terrorists, such as Qatar,
06:03such as Saudi Arabia.
06:05Yes, name them.
06:08There will also be the complexity of decades of cultural and societal indoctrination, which
06:13exists all over the Middle East, especially in these Palestinian communities, which is why not
06:20a single Arab and or Muslim country would accept a single Palestinian, which is why Egypt, run
06:27by Sisi, a military dictator, built a big, tall, wide wall on their border with Gaza to prevent
06:37any Palestinians from coming into Egypt.
06:42This won't be easy, of course, but nobody's tried.
06:46And the Trump peace plan and the work the president and his team have done leading up to it creates
06:54the opportunity like never before and may never present itself again.
07:00Phase two of the Trump peace plan will determine whether Hamas survives, whether Hamas can be
07:06disarmed or not, not only now, but into the future, where the Gaza will be effectively demilitarized
07:12and so forth. Hamas is a monstrous tourist organization like Al Qaeda that killed 3,000 of
07:19our citizens. ISIS, the mothership, the Muslim Brotherhood, the list is long. They're not part
07:25of the peace plan. Hezbollah and the Houthis are not part of the peace plan. They remain a dire threat
07:31to Israel, to Lebanon, to Yemen, and of course, to our country. They've killed hundreds of Americans
07:38and they threaten our homeland. We need the help of these new friends and acquaintances,
07:44these Arab and Muslim nations. If that's what they are, now's the time. Now's the time for the
07:52rubber to hit the road. It's one thing to talk about what Israel should do. It's one thing to talk
07:59about Hamas. It's another. When these countries look at their own territory, they look at their own
08:05policies, they look at their own decisions, and they now have to have skin in the game.
08:12It's one thing, again, for them to agree to a peace plan that doesn't strictly involve them
08:19in another to do what we need them to do in this instance. And so we not only understand that the
08:26real problem, which is not the West, which is not America, which is not Israel, and confront it by
08:35building on the Trump peace plan, taking advantage of the unity the president has developed with these
08:42countries. The root of the problem, Islamist terrorism will not relent, which is precisely why
08:51we're not about to disarm, as I said earlier, our counterterrorism infrastructure, are we?
08:58No. Because the root of the problem exists. I don't know if it ever can be solved. I don't know.
09:08Now's a perfect opportunity to try. That would be eternal peace if it can be accomplished.
09:16Again, I'm not sure it can be. But now that these countries are supposedly aligned with us, are friends
09:24with us, now that we've had this huge, huge historic change in the Middle East, I think we need to think
09:33bigger. This isn't about Israel, two-state solution. The attack on 9-11 had nothing to do with the two-state
09:42solution or Israel. The efforts through immigration and other means to conquer the West has nothing to do
09:51with Israel or a two-state solution. This is bigger. It's very important that our leaders understand the
09:59ideology and the mindset that we are dealing with. The Arab countries do. The Muslim countries certainly do.
10:07Well, if we have this big brotherhood going on right now, let's take advantage of it. The president
10:16has built this foundation. He has relationships with these people. It's now or never. I'll be right
10:22back. Welcome back, America. We're here with our dear friend Peter Schweitzer. He really is a great
10:29investigative reporter. He's president of the Government Accountability Institute, a fantastic group,
10:34GAI. You write great books. You write great pieces over at Breitbart. Just fantastic, Peter.
10:42I wanted to get into this on Dami. You have put out new information, you and your group, about who he is,
10:48what he's doing, who is funding him. And before people finish voting in New York and people around
10:54the country, you need to know exactly who this man is, his family, who's funding him, what he's all
11:00about. It is pure evil. Peter Schweitzer, go. Yeah, Mark, what people have to understand is that this
11:09election for mayor in New York is really a dark echo of the 9-11 terrorist attack. And you wonder,
11:15what do I mean by that? Well, look at the family itself, the Mdami family itself. They are joined at
11:22the hip with the royal family of Qatar, the Althani family. They have sent them millions of dollars.
11:29They have funded their projects. So why does this family matter? It matters because back in 1996,
11:38Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who was the mastermind of the 9-11 attacks, was granted sanctuary by this
11:46very royal family. He was given a no-show job at the Ministry of Water in Qatar, and it was there that
11:53he started planning the 9-11 attacks. The FBI was looking for him, Mark, because he had been involved
12:00in the 1993 World Trade Center attack, as well as other terrorist attacks. So the FBI went to the
12:08royal family and said, we want this man for his involvement in terrorism. What did the family do?
12:14They hit him and helped him to escape. They tipped him off. And I would encourage a lot of people to go
12:20back and look at the statements that Louis Free made back in the day saying, had they gotten Khalid
12:27Sheikh Mohammed, that would have prevented future terrorist attacks like 9-11. So this is the royal
12:35family of Qatar. Why do we care about them in the context of Mdami? Well, first of all, there's the
12:41financial connection that we talked about. Millions of dollars bankrolling the Mdami family. Second of all,
12:49this same family is now on social media around the world. And what are they doing, Mark? They're
12:55pushing Mdami's campaign. They're pushing his policy positions. They're pushing his poll numbers.
13:00They're encouraging people to vote for him, to financially support him. So they're cheerleading
13:05for him. And what did Mdami do in September, just a few weeks ago? He was on Qatari TV. Now,
13:13what American politician running to be a mayor of a city goes on Qatari TV? Mdami goes on Qatari TV.
13:22And what does he do? He talks about the jihad, the verbal jihad, as it were. He talks about the fact
13:29that the United States is underwriting genocide in Israel. This is the same family, the Mdami's,
13:37by the way, who say that Darfur, where 400,000 Christians were slaughtered by Islamists,
13:43that was not jihad. This is the same family that says that terrorism is a Western invention. It's
13:48not an Islamist invention. So you have this bizarre situation where a political candidate in New York
13:56speaks the language of jihad, is financially connected to the family that helped the 9-11
14:04plotters get away so they could bring down the Twin Towers. And it would be a tragedy if the
14:10Qataris would see a occupant of City Hall when they were the same people that were involved in what
14:18happened in 9-11 and bringing down the Twin Towers. 1993, World Trade Center bombing.
14:24What's that connection? Yeah. So Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was one of the people that plotted and was
14:31involved in that. It's when he was on the run from that attack that he ended up in Qatar. And so the
14:37Qatar relationship has been long with terrorism. You've talked about, of course, their ties to Hamas,
14:44their ties to Hezbollah. I should point out, Mark, that in addition to the Qatari connection,
14:49there are also a lot of other international enemies of the United States that are cheering on
14:55Mandani. For example, the International Quran News Agency, which is based out of Iran, has run glowing
15:03profiles on Mandani, talking about the fact that he can win in New York, that his policy positions and
15:10that his values are Islamic, in their words. They talk about how his strategy is to cultivate Muslim
15:17votes. So the Iranian news agencies are cheering them on. In addition to that, there's a news publication
15:24in Lebanon linked to Hezbollah, the terrorist organization. They ran a story talking about
15:31Mandani's rise after he won the Democratic nomination in New York, and they were thrilled.
15:36And it's very interesting, Mark, to point out in that article, they said if Mandani wins in New York
15:43and becomes mayor of New York, he has a future political career on the national stage. Among the
15:49positions they mention he might get to assume is head of Homeland Security. Now, why would a terrorist
15:57organization like Hezbollah want Mandani to be head of the Department of Homeland Security?
16:03I think the evidence is pretty clear. You're putting this information out. You're now putting it out to
16:08millions of people nationally. What do you want to bet it's ignored by the New York Times in New York,
16:13by the New York Daily News in New York, by the Associated Press, by Reuters and all the rest? You
16:19do all the footwork. You pull all the investigative data together. What do you want to bet this is
16:24ignored because they want this guy elected? Yeah, I think it is going to be ignored. And look,
16:29there are other financial connections. There's an imam, Wahaj, that we talk about. This imam,
16:35by the way, has three children that last year were sentenced to life in prison for their
16:41involvement in a terrorist attack. He is supporting Mandani's campaign in New York. And in 2021,
16:49in a interview, he actually predicted the rise of a Muslim candidate in New York and said the time was
16:55ready and the time was ready for Muslims to seize political power in New York. So they are ignoring
17:01this. The stakes could not be higher. It's not just an issue for New Yorkers. It should be an issue
17:08for all Americans that are concerned about our security. We have a candidate who speaks the
17:13language of jihad. And we have a candidate whose family is tied to individuals or a family in Qatar
17:20that has been linked to international terrorist networks. You know, I get very frustrated by hearing
17:26people in the media, conservatives, Republicans, what have you, say things like, OK, he'll win in New
17:34York and then they'll never win anywhere else in the United States because we'll see how he destroys
17:38New York. They don't understand the thinking of these Islamists. That's not the plan. The plan is
17:45to run people for city council, to run people for mayors, to pick off one area after another after
17:50another. They changed the voting system in order to get him nominated as a Democrat, even though he's
17:55a democratic socialist, a.k.a. Marxist, Islamist who hates America and hates Jews. This is a dire threat to
18:02the country and we'd better wake the hell up to this. We'll be right back.
18:11Free ride. Allies, even Laura Luma, turn on President Trump for accepting luxury jet from Qatar.
18:20As far as Team Trump goes, if you've lost Luma, you've lost the plot. Hell have now frozen over.
18:28President Donald Trump's decision to accept a $400 million plane from Qatar as a gift has prompted
18:34stinging criticism from Laura Luma. She's the hard right activist who specialises in getting the
18:41president to fire top officials and withdraw nominees or at least claims credit for doing so.
18:48If you've lost Luma, you're losing the argument.
18:51Not according to Donald Trump. He told reporters yesterday that this was a great gesture by Qatar
18:58done because we keep them safe. Referring to Qatar and the UAE, which he'll be visiting after Saudi Arabia.
19:08He said the maintenance costs on the 40-year-old Air Force One planes are astronomical and noted that
19:14the Reagan Library has such a plane. The decommissioned Qatar aircraft will go to the future
19:20Trump Library. But the Gibber's plane didn't come from Qatar. How are we supposed to ever see the US
19:28under the Trump admin designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organisation? Luma wrote.
19:34If the US is now going to accept a $400 million jet from Qatar to fly the US President and his staff
19:39around on. Calling the episode a stain on his tenure, she added, I love President Trump. I would take a
19:48bullet for him, but I have to call out a spade a spade. We cannot accept a $400 million gift from
19:54jihadists in suits. The Qatarists fund the same Iranian proxies in Hamas and Hezbollah who have
19:59murdered US service members. The same proxies that have worked with the Mexican cartels to get jihadists
20:05across our borders. The media are in an uproar as well and the story has only grown bigger since it
20:14was first reported by ABC News. Of course the luxury 747 will have to be upgraded with secure communications
20:21and military equipment and military equipment. They will at least, till last, till, sorry one more time.
20:33Start with that.
20:36They will at least, sorry one more time, sorry.
20:40That would take at least till the end of the year. But one Pentagon official told the New York Times,
20:53we're talking years, not months.
20:57Trump consulted Elon Musk, the Doge leader and head of SpaceX, who told him that the plane could be delivered
21:04in a year. Two loyalists, Attorney General Pam Bondi and White House Counsel David Warrington,
21:11approved the arrangement according to the Times. Trump toured the 747 in February when it was parked
21:17at the Pan Beach Airport. There was a Plan B that got derailed. The Qataris offered to donate the plane
21:26immediately to the future Trump library. But administration lawyers said that would violate
21:32the Constitution's announcement clause, which as Beltway insiders know, bars any federal officials
21:38from accepting personal gifts from a foreign nation without the approval of Congress.
21:46He announced that after two days of talks, the US and China reached a 90-day agreement that would
21:51reduce tariffs on Beijing from 145% to 30% and Chinese tariffs would be cut to 10%.
21:58It's clear that Trump blinked. Having tanked the market, which soared yesterday, he was under enormous
22:06pressure to undo the damage. So now we're back to square one, roughly where we might have been
22:11without igniting a global crisis. But perhaps Xi Jinping blinked as well. His government was feeling
22:20the impact of sky-high tariffs as well. The Chinese, with considerably less enthusiasm,
22:25said the mistake would only lead to further negotiations.
22:30Trump also was able to announce a ceasefire in the escalator war between India and Pakistan,
22:35thanks to some weekend diplomacy by Marco Rubio and J.D. Vance.
22:42Trump also was able to announce that Hamas was freeing the last living American hostage
22:47being held by the terrorist group.
22:48Trump also sided with Vladimir Putin, who wants to meet for peace talks with Volodymyr Zelenskyy,
22:57who first wants a 30-day ceasefire so that Moscow doesn't continue killing
23:02and gain more territory while stalling on any ports in the fighting.
23:08Trump also was able to unveil a plan that he says will lower the costs of prescription drugs by 30-80%.
23:15But circling back to the 747, the president chided ABC's Rachel Scott
23:20when she tried to question him about the plane.
23:24You're ABC fake news, right? Only ABC? Well, a few of you would. Let me tell you,
23:30you should be embarrassed asking that question. They're giving us a free jet. I could say,
23:35no, no, no, don't give us. I want to pay you a billion or 400 million or whatever it is.
23:40I could say, thank you very much.
23:45Scott tried again. Respectfully, sir, as a businessman, some people may look at this and say,
23:51have you ever been given a gift worth millions of dollars and then not?
23:56It's not a gift to me. It's a gift to the Department of Defense, Trump said.
24:00And you should know better because you've been embarrassed enough and so has your network.
24:04Your network is a disaster. ABC is a disaster. Whether the president is right or wrong,
24:12it seems like these are legitimate questions and the media are always a great foil for him.
24:17So I don't see him backing down.
24:19Volvo recalls more than 450,000 vehicles over backup camera issue.
24:31Recall includes a range of vehicles from model years 2021 to 2025. Swedish automaker Volvo Cars is
24:39recalling more than 450,000 cars in the US and Canada due to the backup camera issue that raises
24:44the risk of a crash. The rear view camera image may not show up when the affected cars are placed in
24:50reverse, increasing the possibility of an accident, a Volvo car spokesperson told Fox Business.
24:58Volvo is recalling over 400,000 vehicles in the US and 40,000 in Canada. These include certain model
25:05year 2021 to 2025 cars. Yeah, it's going to be a fun one. Let's, let's, let's try, let's try, let's.
25:19Nah, nah, that's not happening, mate.
25:22V90, CC, C4. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. We're just going to say cars, we're just going to say cars.
25:28vehicles, vehicles. So this part, you just say the car models. Okay. Various car models, a Volvo.
25:39Various, various vehicles, Volvo vehicles. Yeah.
25:44Yeah.
25:51Okay. We start from Volvo is recalling more than 400 vehicles.
25:5940,000 vehicles in the US and over 40,000 in Canada. These are a ton of different vehicles
26:15by Volvo. It's an insane amount ranging from the year 2021 to 2025, the spokesperson said.
26:23To fix the issue, the automaker will perform a software upgrade on the vehicles.
26:28The software can be updated free of charge by a Volvo dealer or through an over-in-the-air
26:34update, a remote update service in which software can be downloaded directly to your car,
26:40according to the Volvo website. Volvo has not received any reports of incidents occurring while
26:46driving or crashes related to the backup camera issue, according to a May 1st recall notice from the
26:52National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. We encourage customers to contact their
26:58authorised Volvo retailer and have this recall repair completed as soon as possible.
27:03Volvo car said in the notice notification letters are expected to be mailed to Volvo owners on June 24th.
27:12Impacted Volvo owners can also contact Volvo car customer service or reach out to the
27:18National Highway Traffic Safety Administration vehicle safety hotline. The recall comes a week after
27:26electric vehicle maker Polestar recalled more than 27,000 Polestar 2 vehicles in the US because of a
27:32similar issue.
