00:00You were here in 2019 for the screening of Marriage Story, and I noticed some similarities
00:05between these two films. I know you were the lawyer in that film, but what is it like to now
00:11be a part of the central couple? It's amazing. You know, I think what Bradley longed to do is
00:20discover what it is to find your way to self so that you can even know how to engage in
00:29true relationship. And many of us catch up to that years into a relationship or years into our own
00:37living, you know? And so that's what I particularly loved about the movie journey. And you're premiering
00:44two films this year with Jay Kelly as well. So what is it like to be here premiering such highly
00:51anticipated projects? I mean, you know, to be here at the sort of opening days of the festival with
00:58Noah Baumbach and then close the festival with Bradley, you know, two filmmakers who are such
01:05dear friends. And, you know, George and Adam and Will, I mean, these are, you know, now family
01:13members. So it's an incredible thing to get to find family and the work that we love. And that's
01:19been amazing. And New York Film Festival is, you know, a true home for me since I was very young.
01:26I'm a teenager the first time I came. So it means a lot to me to be here.
01:31And then lastly, I just want to quickly ask you, we know that Big Little Lies season three is coming.
01:38So how does it feel to reunite with that cast soon, revisit those characters? Have you received a script
01:44yet? That's so sweet. I'm sorry, I'm seeing my beloved David Lynch and I in a picture. It's, you know, it's
01:55incredible, like, just like this, you know, to be with your dearest friends, and you're making stuff
02:02together. But we truly not align, like we on Big Little Lies are our besties, like we love each other
02:11so much. So to get to just spend all that kind of time together, let alone be at play and be
02:16telling stories and playing characters we love. I'm partial to my character, because I just love her so
02:23much traumatizing and fantastic. So, you know, that's an incredible gift.
