00:00 What was it like working with John Krasinski as a director on this?
00:04 Well, he is astonishingly inspirational.
00:09 Not just as a director, but as a person.
00:11 Because you think, John, he comes in buoyant every morning.
00:14 He is what you see on the tin.
00:16 He's buoyant, fun, delighted, very emotional, always excited by every take.
00:24 Then does a million more takes, but makes them even better, even better, even better.
00:27 He builds and everything, so he was a pleasure to be with.
00:30 You also had a dance sequence in this as well.
00:34 Did that take any rehearsals? Did you work with a choreographer for this?
00:37 Many hours, many days, many weeks of rehearsal.
00:40 The moment I started on Even Hair and Makeup, I was in doing that rehearsing.
00:44 We rehearsed for weeks.
00:45 It was a much longer dance, but they took the bit that they wanted, and that's what we did.
00:49 It was beautiful. I also wanted to ask about acting opposite the animated characters.
00:53 You, of course, have experience working with Dobby in the Harry Potter films.
00:57 Was it much different or similar to that experience?
01:00 I had very little to do with the creatures. They all happened.
01:04 But the film was shot consecutively, so it came in at the beginning of the film
01:08 and then went away while they did all that bit, and then came back at the end.
01:12 So it was very, very small bit there.
01:15 Yes, but I did want to ask, if you could have anyone in Hollywood voice your imaginary friend in real life,
01:22 who would you choose?
01:26 I suppose I'd love the wisdom of Meryl Streep.
01:30 Or, you know, in Hollywood, yes. Who else would I like?
01:35 There are so many--I mean, the place is full of very, very talented people.
01:41 I think Meryl Streep is the perfect choice.
01:44 Finally, I wanted to ask, of course, they have greenlit a new Harry Potter series.
01:48 How exciting is that? Are you looking forward to seeing it, perhaps?
01:52 And do you have any suggestions on who might play the new Anne Petunia?
01:56 I don't know. It could be very interesting to see. I mean, I suppose it's that much time ago.
02:01 I keep on thinking it wasn't so long ago, but maybe it is.
02:04 Do you have any ideas of who you would cast, perhaps?
02:07 No, I have no ideas. Thank God I don't have to do that job.
02:11 job.
