Laura Dern was so excited to see John Bishop and his wife at the London Film Festival premiere of new comedy, Is This Thing On?
She loved working with the multi-talented Bradley Cooper and was interrupted mid-conversation by Will Arnett.

The Bradley Cooper‑directed film Is This Thing On? is set to be released in UK cinemas on 30 January 2026. Report by Jonesl. Like us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/itn and follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/itn

00:00Great to meet you. Thank you. I like your Oasis shirt. Thank you very much indeed. Love everything about you. How does it feel working with such incredible people still? All these roles you're doing are so different. It feels incredible. It was such a delight to work with them. I was just going to compliment you. Hi. Perfect timing. It's incredible working with them. I love that. And the fact that Bradley not only was a director and actor in this, he got behind the camera. Did you ever kind of get put off by that? And how did the dynamic work?
00:26Never got put off. It was a dream come true, you know, to have Bradley literally right there with us. Like we were one creating these characters. And there's an intimacy and a rawness because we were all there, right there together in the moment. Have you tried the John Bishop accent? No. Sticky chicken and a can of Coke. That's what you've got to say. By the way, I can't wait to see him and his wife Mel. Sticky chicken and a can of Coke. That's how you say it. I have to learn how to say it.
00:56Exactly. Thank you, Noah. Thank you.
