00:00So, Puck, let's talk about your career and how you actually got started in adult.
00:05Like, how did you, where did that first step come from?
00:08I was, I mean, it's a pretty standard story.
00:11I had no money, no prospects.
00:14I was out living in a living room somewhere.
00:17And I looked very different than I do now.
00:20I had, like, shaved head and, like, tons of piercings.
00:23And I was just kind of, like, in a bad relationship, bad situation.
00:27I was like, I need to make money fast.
00:29I was also following a lot of very hot women on Tumblr at the time who were cam models.
00:35And I was like, hmm, interesting.
00:37I could do that because I had a long career in different types of performance throughout my life, like with music and acting and all sorts of things.
00:49And so, and I also wasn't really sexually fulfilled at that time at all.
00:54And so, I, you know, got a little webcam, my little laptop, and then I got to work.
01:01And from there, honestly, I'm not going to lie.
01:04The first, like, five years, I only did it to make enough money to cover rent and smoke weed.
01:09I mean, that was it.
01:12That makes sense to me.
01:13That was it.
01:13I was just, like, I was, you know, gutter punk 20s.
01:17Yeah.
01:18Very, like, not, like, doing anything.
01:21And which was so funny because growing up, I was, like, valedictorian and, like, very, very, like, straight A's and very type A and had to be the best at everything.
01:31And then I just kind of, like, met the real world and I was, like, meh, I'm good.
01:39But after a few years of that, I'm on my 12th year now, next week, I was, like, oh, I'm learning stuff.
01:50Like, I'm learning a lot.
01:51Actually, if I kept pushing and kept trying, I could make something of myself.
01:56And I also love, I love being my own boss.
02:01But I was also learning about lighting and, like, technical things and marketing and, like, all sorts of stuff.
02:08And I was, like, oh, if I just kept pushing myself and really applied myself, I could, you know, build something.
02:14And then I started caring enough about myself to want that for myself.
02:19And now I'm just all hustle baby and I need to start to pull it back.
02:23And I need to find work-life balance.
02:25Yeah, that's hard.
02:26That's hard.
02:27When you're working for yourself, you're, like, oh, bitch, you could keep going.
02:31Yeah.
02:31There's no off clock.
02:32No.
02:33What are you doing?
02:33Yeah.
02:34It's rough.
02:35I, like, just yesterday, I, like, sat on the couch and I was, like, okay, I'm gonna watch a TV show tonight.
02:42I haven't watched TV in, like, so long.
02:44Yeah.
02:45Because now, like, my husband goes to bed at, like, 8 and, you know, my daughter's asleep.
02:48And so, like, just, so, like, I'm gonna watch a TV show.
02:52But I gotta check this one thing on my laptop.
02:54Two hours later, it's, like, midnight.
02:56Yeah.
02:56And I've been working the whole time.
02:58I'm like, well, never mind.
02:59We do half movies.
03:00Like, we, whenever somebody talks about watching a TV series and, like, what are you talking about?
03:05How do you have time for that?
03:07Yeah.
03:07We get through half of a movie and then we fall asleep to it and then we put it back on the next day.
03:12If it's interesting.
03:12Most of them are not.
03:13Yeah.
03:13We abandon a lot of movies.
03:14Yeah, we abandon a lot.
03:15Yeah.
03:16Jump ship.
03:16It's hard.
03:17It's hard.
03:19So, what just made you decide to, like, start doing cosplay?
03:22Like, when did that come up?
03:24Okay, I feel like, I feel like when I, it wasn't just cosplay, really.
03:30It was, like, specifically, like, horror cosplay.
03:33So, I started throwing these, like, crazy big Halloween parties.
03:36I'd spend a month building my house out, like, a haunted house.
03:42We'd have, like, hundreds of people come and I would just make these, like, intricate sets in my house.
03:48Um, thankfully, my roommates were very down and very accepting of that.
03:53I built, like, an eight-foot PVC spider and, like, went all in.
03:57And then as I was building that, I was also doing sex work and clip making on the side.
04:01And then I was like, oh, what if I incorporated that?
04:04What if I, so then I started doing, like, horror cosplays on the sets that I'd already built.
04:08Like, you know, more bang for your buck.
04:11And as I kept doing it, it got my juices flowing.
04:14I got really excited.
04:15I was like, oh, this is my thing.
04:18Like, I love doing this.
04:19And so, just kind of kept going from there.
04:22So, you do, like, a lot of, like, horror cosplay.
04:25Yes.
04:25So, when you play that character, I'm assuming it's a very dominating kind of...
04:29Yes, or my guys really love when I'm, like, the psycho lovesick girl.
