00:00I also want to importantly recognise our staff. The staff of the organisation over many years

00:10have been through enormous change and enormous pressures. They feel the pressures of the community

00:16like everybody else does and the times. We've been through some tough times from

00:21black summer through to COVID and economic downturns. But the professionalism that I see

00:28and have already seen in terms of the services and the desire and the passion that exists within

00:34the staff, the men and women of Shoalhaven City Council, you know, I'm very humbled to be leading

00:40this organisation to support them delivering the great outcomes that they want for the community

00:46as we move into what is going to be an incredibly dynamic period ahead.
