00:00We've begun to close down tobacconists suspected of not complying with our tough new tobacco

00:05and vaping laws.

00:06We've now shut down more than 20 tobacconists across the state, with several closed in the

00:12Riverina, the Illawarra and the Shoalhaven region this week.

00:16A lot of legal work goes into getting these shutdowns right, and these will take some

00:20time to roll out.

00:22But we are scaling up these closures with more planned over the coming months, and the

00:26message is simple.

00:28If you're doing the wrong thing, sooner or later will come to you, so now is the time

00:32to stop it.
