00:00I mean, you look at the statistics as a whole, coach,
00:02they were abused across every aspect of this 60-minute ball game.
00:08I mean, Florida puts up 457 yards,
00:10and that offense at one particular time in the second half
00:13was humming against that Texas defense.
00:17Yeah, that's exactly right.
00:19They didn't have any answer for them,
00:21and Florida just kept making big play after big play.
00:24But again, when you have a championship-caliber team,
00:27you can't be just good on one side of the ball.
00:31There are games where they've got an offensive system that's just clicking.
00:34They've got pitchers that are throwing strikes,
00:36and you've just got to find a way to match them.
00:38And right now, Texas has just had no answers on offense against good people.
00:43They scored a lot against maybe Sam Houston,
00:45but when you're playing good people,
00:47they just haven't been able to put points on the board.
00:49And again, I know it's tough to put all that on Arch Manning.
00:53In a way, he's a quarterback.
00:55He's at Texas.
00:56You know that's what they're going to do.
00:58You either get all the credit or all the blame.
00:59That's part of it.
01:00But again, there's a lot of things offensively.
01:03They've got to get fixed at Texas.
01:05They remind me a little bit of LSU
01:07and what they were supposed to have on offense
01:09and a few other teams that offensively aren't doing what they need to do.
01:14Now, when you look at Billy Napier and you look at DJ Lagway
01:18and you saw what they were able to do against one of the better,
01:22let's say, secondaries in the conference,
01:24could that continue potentially on the road against A&M this weekend?
01:28And if they get another victory,
01:31could this team be potentially the team that we thought they would be
01:34at the start of the year?
01:35Or do you just think schedule and from what you've seen right now,
01:39last week was potentially an outlier?
01:42I don't think it necessarily is an outlier,
01:44but I'm looking at Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Georgia, Kentucky,
01:48Ole Miss, Tennessee, FSU.
01:49That's the rest of their schedule.
01:52Now, you've got to play as good as you did Saturday
01:54and maybe even better every game to keep from having two or three more losses.
01:59I think they played like the Florida I think we thought they would get.
02:04Whether they can come back and win enough games there,
02:06whether Billy Napier is just kind of making it difficult on the people
02:10that have already hoping that he would be gone,
02:13they found a way to be awful good.
02:15But it's going to be one week at a time because they have to play at the top
02:19of their game offensively and defensively to get through that schedule.
02:23Absolutely.
02:24I agree with that as well.
02:26I think when you look at Billy Napier,
02:27it definitely saved his job for potentially one week.
02:31I think the biggest thing is that when we look at just the defense as a whole,
02:36they potentially, Coach, could be one of the best in the country.
02:40I mean, that defense has been consistent now.
02:42In all their losses, the defense comes to play on every Saturday.
02:47Yeah, they haven't lost a game defensively.
02:49I mean, they haven't.
02:50They were lucky to be in the game that way throwing five interceptions against LSU.
02:54Defense pretty much stopped USF.
02:57Miami didn't score that much against them.
02:59It was a close three-point ball game going into the fourth quarter.
03:03And yet they settled.
03:04If they had not had their schedule, had some of the other SEC teams' schedule,
03:08we wouldn't be probably talking about them like this.
03:10But we are, and they've got to overcome it.
03:13We knew it before the season that this was going to be one of the toughest schedules in the country.
03:17Now we just got to take it one at a time and see how far they can go.
03:22Again, they will have to play their best football on both sides of the ball
03:25if they're going to get through that schedule with a good record.
03:28So, go ahead to see how far they can go.
