00:00So last night pregame we were talking about what happens if they go there and they find a way to
00:06win the game and they they found a way to not only win the game they found a way for much of the night
00:11to control the game despite all their own stupid mistakes which we will of course get into
00:16but the big thing that we were discussing was if you can go there and win the amount of buy-in
00:24that Mike Vrabel will have as Patriots head coach is immense and it should be after that night
00:30because you can sort of transform how players buy in to your program and you know that Mike Vrabel's
00:38coaching style is about being tough about being accountable about having a sort of a team identity
00:47and mentality and so when you have this last night this is like proof of concept right we
00:54went out there we played as a team we fought for each other we prepared really well for this game
00:59we were tough which to me is a big thing that comes out of this game was how tough they were
01:05how tough Drake May was in terms of being that example of toughness in so many different ways
01:11I mean he kept plays alive he took a beating he was running with the football all of that
01:17was a clear-cut example of toughness last night from the quarterback of the team
01:24and so you can see when you have a game like this that my philosophies work meaning Mike Vrabel
01:31my plan works that all the emotion that Mike Vrabel sort of puts into his coaching style that
01:41previous coaches I don't know that they had that lends credibility to him it's the work that playing
01:48through injuries or playing when there is doubt that you can go there and win the game and there
01:53was plenty of doubt I'll be first in line I did not think that this was possible last night this to
01:58me is oh boy they're ahead of schedule you're not supposed to go to Buffalo and win but they did go
02:03to Buffalo and win and they know that that outside doubt existed in fact they were able to use that
02:09emotionally as part of their fuel for this game Steph Diggs used the emotion of going back to Buffalo
02:17despite in the media saying all the classiest of things going into this game he used it as fuel and
02:24I said pregame last night I said man I hope that his emotions and feelings about Buffalo are not what
02:31he portrayed publicly this week I hope he goes up there and plays with the biggest of chips on his
02:37shoulder and he did last night that came through it especially came through in the second half and so
02:44now you've got not only momentum as a football team after a game like that you've got the momentum
02:50of belief is what you have of buy-in
