00:47and they relied on me because at the time I was the oldest girl in the house and
00:50they looked to me to serve them or have some food or just cook up anything that
00:55hey key can you make us something and so that's how my passion for making
01:00people feel satisfied and full again so you know what's called Keita's kitchen now
01:04give me give me your location we are located at 129 North Rochester Road and
01:10we're located in Clausen Michigan right in right in between Royal Oak and Troy
01:14one mile up the street from Oakland Mall now this is the house seller I had to
01:18have you make one of these this is what that's the catfish po'boy if you don't
01:22know anything about Louisiana you are going to get a catfish po'boy you go in
01:27town and this is our version of it and it comes with our special KK sauce po'boy
01:34sauce and we make it fresh to order massive sandwich what's ingredients in
01:38here a large piece of catfish lettuce tomatoes onions KK po'boy sauce and pickles
01:45you got all kind of sides too this is coming every order right here right yes
01:49got the mac and cheese that's a lot of cheese in it that's a six six piece six
01:53six six different cheeses in that bad boy candy yams yeah and tell me about the
01:58greens these are green collard greens with smoked turkey we also have another
02:03green turnips and mustard mixed and that comes with pork everybody loves them my
02:10folks from Virginia what we normally do gotta put cornbread in your greens right yes that's a staple right
02:15there tell me about this right here this is our red beans and rice it has smoked
02:20turkey and andouille sausage in it oh my god what a lot of herbs and spices just you
02:27know we make them fresh every day we make everything fresh every day all day
02:31so it's gonna take a minute to get it ain't like no fast food no it's not fast
02:34food this is fresh food and also we got the wings we got the wings come on the
02:39wings I mean that's inevitable at any soul food restaurant you gotta have some wings gotta have the wings no

02:45if you ever been to New Orleans come on man stable right here gumbo so tell me
02:50about the gumbo what's all in this right here this takes about four hours to make
02:54and perfect so we start off with the holy trinity and our special seasonings and
02:58flavorings and we add shrimp chicken everyone loves it especially on a nice
03:04cool day it warms you up inside this is New Orleans right here man Louisiana gumbo we
03:09also have other sides we have black eyed peas and we mix that with okra because
03:15that's how we do it down at the dirty down in the boot should I say yeah we have
03:19that mixed with okra we also have our green beans we have the spaghetti dressing
03:28turkey wings on Sunday we have the barbecue on the weekend yeah barbecue yeah we do
03:33ribs chicken you name it so every Sunday you can see a little bit of anything and
03:39Sunday's right on Sunday you're gonna get the full bar to break out with
03:43everything everything we take it back old school but like big mama used to do
03:46that's what I'm talking about we got everything that Joe Hart decides it's in

05:06we have our homemade carrot cake we do a southern pound cake it's what all the
