00:00Global Affairs Canada confirms two Canadians have been detained in Israel after allegedly attempting to bring aid to Gaza by sea.

00:08This is one of 10 boats that sailed towards Gaza as part of a global flotilla this morning.

00:14Now, it's unclear exactly which vessel the two Canadians were on.

00:18Global Affairs says it's unable to confirm if any other Canadians were on board,

00:23and that it's closely monitoring developments.

00:25Israeli naval forces intercepted dozens of boats in international waters in the recent days, arresting about 470 people.

00:33Israel says it's now deported 137 of them to turn.
