00:14In a statement today commemorating World Teachers Day, Passat-Bissassar says reform depends on the daily courage of teachers to enter classrooms with patience and hope.
00:25And says the government is prepared to empower them by equipping every Form 1 class with laptops and digital tools.
00:33She says the government is prepared to expand book grants and school meal support, introduce AI-assisted early childhood screening to reach every learner,
00:43invest in continuous upskilling and mentorship networks to strengthen teachers' professional growth,
00:49and to prioritise safe, modernised schools that foster collaboration and innovation.
00:57The Prime Minister says teaching was her first calling, having been an educator long before entering public life.
01:04She says every child needs a champion and every teacher deserves respect, support and the freedom to thrive as part of a strong professional community.
