00:25Welcome ghouls and ghosts to a brand new spooky spot season for 2025.
00:28And of course as you can see we're currently being joined here by the candle.
00:32Looking though at the Fanta Chucky's Punch I actually not only picked up a bottle of Chucky's Punch but originally picking up a can as well.
00:39This was I think the only way I could find Chucky's Punch in the first place was only by can until I realized later and stopping off at a random gas station I found a bottle too.
00:49I don't think though for the reasons of being the exact same flavor I'm going to open up both of them at the exact same time.
00:54Maybe I'll keep this one sealed for now. You can still see though that there's a theme between the two.
01:00That's a relief. They're caffeine free. This one comes actually inside of one 100% recycled bottle.
01:06This one comes in an aluminum can.
01:07It's naturally flavored sparkling beverage.
01:11That sounds by looking at it like it would be healthy for you but don't let that fool you.
01:14Ingredients contain carbonated water, sugar, glucose, fructose, citric acid, natural flavor, caramel color, sodium benzoite, sodium benzoite, sodium citrate, allure red, whatever allure red may actually be.
01:29What's the caloric intake?
01:31Well calories for this is 160.
01:33Let's see what the bottle is.
01:35No, no, as be expected.
01:36The bottle is 220 calories.
01:39Sugar content for both.
01:41You're looking at the can being 42 grams.
01:43The bottle, on the other hand, on the other hand, 59 grams.
01:48Sodium for this is 60 grams, milligrams, while this one here is 45.
01:52Some could really easily say that the healthier alternative would have been for the can but it's just for really the fact that the can is also smaller.
01:58This one 355 milliliters.
02:01This one's 500 milliliters.

02:09So I'm going to probably keep this one sealed because I think it certainly does do the better job of looking like a good guy.
02:15I mean, it's got all of Chucky's traditional striping colors.
02:18The red, the white, the blue there.
02:20It's all really the colors of America as well.
02:22I don't want to imagine that this is going to be any bit different if you have regular Fanta punch.
02:26Truth be honestly told with you guys, I don't think the last, when was the last time I had myself a Fanta?
02:31It was probably like a Fanta orange and I got it at a theater, movie theater.
02:34I don't even remember what the movie actually was.
02:36Um, so it's been a while that I've had a Fanta.
02:38I couldn't even really tell you whether this is a true, like if this just tastes the same flavor as a regular fruit punch.
02:44To do this though in style, I'm going to kind of move everything out of the way here.
02:47I'm going to bring in some of the frills here.
02:49I've got my vintage Ghostbusters 2 glass that I got myself at, speaking of which, a gas station.

02:58Way back, way back in the 90s.

03:08We're going to open up the can and I don't know if it's just, by the way, the fact that I've got all this extra moisturizer on my hands,
03:12but I find like this bottle is extremely slippery.
03:16Showing you really only by pouring this into the cup.
03:18The cup actually is more just there to show you guys what the liquid looks like.
03:22Just in case the color looks a little distorted inside the bottle.
03:25Well, it's not really quite a traditional red color.
03:29It actually looks like it's got a bit of a brownish tint to it.
03:32What do you think about that?

03:36Yeah, the coloring is a more darker red than I was expecting.
03:41I thought just by looking at it through the bottle that maybe the bottle was kind of distorting the colors,
03:45but it does look like, by looking at it at least, there's definitely a little bit more brown to that reddish hue.
03:51It is sparkling, of course, as well.
03:53And we're going to give this a try just to kind of see, obviously, to get this far along in the review
03:58and show you guys what the bottle looks like, show you what the can looks like,
04:00and not do any bit of sampling of this.
04:02That would be a failed review.
04:04And this guy is not going to be doing any bit of failing reviews all throughout the spooky spot season.
04:10So let's give it a try here, the Fanta Chuckie's Punch.
04:13Again, I don't really have a regular Fanta Fruit Punch to compare this against.
04:16I would imagine that they probably have.
04:17Just, I know, get along, move along with this review.
04:19I don't think, though, I mean, other than just slopping a label on there that says it's Chucky,
04:24I don't think this is any bit different than a regular Fanta Fruit Punch.

04:29Let's give this a try, the new Fanta Chuckie's Punch.
04:32I probably even would have, oh, get along with that.
04:35I would have probably called it Chuckie's Blood Punch.
04:38Probably wouldn't be good for marketing.
04:39Okay, let's give this a try.
04:40Mmm, that's not the flavor I was expecting it to be.
04:52It's very heavy on cherry.
04:54Of course, it does have the other fruit flavor medley going on in there as well.
04:57Like, fruits are dancing with one another.
04:59And tasting a little bit, definitely tasting more cherry than anything else.
05:03Maybe tasting a little bit of blueberry.
05:06Maybe a little bit.
05:07What else would really be in a fruit punch?
05:10I guess it'd be cherry, maybe some orange.
05:12No, orange.
05:12You don't, ridiculous.
05:14Orange would never be finding its way into a fruit punch.
05:16It is definitely more of a cherry fruit punch than just a regular monotoned flavored fruit punch.
05:24Honestly, to tell you this, it tastes like a cold, fizzy cough syrup.
05:29Like, if I was to, like, cough stirps for, you know, adults now.
05:33If you think of, like, Buckley's, Buckley's tastes horrible, but it actually works.
05:37I mean, we don't tend to have ourselves flavored cough serves.
05:40The kids get more benefit of, you know, having the flavored cough serves.
05:44If I was to, say, take myself, like, a kid's bentolin, like a cherry-flavored bentolin,
05:48I'd put it in the fridge for a while.
05:50I'd add some carbonation, some CO2, bubble is all in there.
05:54This would be kind of what I would imagine the flavor would taste like.
05:57It tastes like a cherry, fizzy cough syrup.
06:00This is exactly why Fanta, I'm sure, doesn't want me working for their marketing team.
06:05I think the flavor is okay.
06:07I mean, I don't generally go, if I was to pick out a punch, I probably would go with Hawaiian punch.
06:13It's probably been a while even since I've had a fruit punch, but Hawaiian punch probably would be the better one to go with.
06:17It's a little bit sweeter.
06:19I don't think it would be very, like, this doesn't feel like it's super sweet.
06:23It feels very, again, heavy on the cherry, heavy on the carbonation, heavy on the cough syrup.
06:28Of course, I had a cough earlier.
06:31Did it make the cough go away?

06:34Maybe it's gone away.
06:35It actually even kind of tastes like what a flaming moe, I would imagine, tastes like.
06:39A flaming moe, just clearly it isn't on fire.

06:47I think there was also a, correct me if I'm wrong, there was a Michael Myers Fanta as well.
06:51I have had no chance at all to find that out in the wild.
06:54But I was really, again, surprised to find both the can and the bottle of Fanta's Chucky Punch.
07:00The can, I think, is a little bit, again, more interesting.
07:02It's smaller in size, and thereby being smaller in size, it's a little bit better for you.
07:06I mean, looking clearly at the ingredients, soda in the first place isn't going to be great for you.
07:10But if you had to go with it moderately, moderately would be the size of the can.
07:14Moderately, though, wouldn't be as much for the bottle.
07:16And the bottle is still slippery in my hands.
