00:07you okay yeah cool so just give us your first names who've we got give us a shout out go on

00:12start with you Aisha Aisha my name's Eddie cool moment Sophia Diane Jack Reuben cool so tell me

00:25what you think about this mural so did you see Mr Willis the artist making it did you see it

00:29bit by bit as it was going on no so it was a bit of a surprise like you just saw the big reveal at

00:36the end so what did you think when you first saw it it looks beautiful it does look beautiful doesn't

00:45it and did you know about mural art before yeah so you do now don't yeah it's a lovely form of

00:53artwork isn't it and have any of you seen his artwork when you've been driving around with

00:58mums and dads in the car he's painted a lot of bus stops hasn't he in the area do you think you

01:02might have seen some of those they're nice as well aren't they they've got a lot of wildlife and stuff

01:07so what what who's got a favorite bit on here then we've got swans we've got the leg go on chicken what's

01:14your the butterfly yeah and what is it you like particularly about this butterfly it's big and

01:23colorful isn't it it's very very nice and anybody else got a favorite little bit go on mate

01:28oh yes you're right when you have the two swans like face to face you're right that does give the

01:38shape of a heart doesn't it what a lovely answer anybody else want to say a little go on mate

01:43water yeah and if you've been and seen the lakes at the nature reserve yeah wow and uh anybody else

01:52what about these flowers anybody like the flowers oh yeah the big yeah bumblebee would love that one

02:02wouldn't they they would indeed right so do you think has it inspired you guys that maybe you might

02:08kind of do it you know want to become an artist maybe when you're a bit bigger yeah mind you i'm

02:14going to be big to be an artist you can be an artist now well thank you for your thoughts on it and

02:18um i'm very jealous you've got a fantastic looking school guys thank you

02:22so we're at dot hill school and um fantastic mural's been done and it's in thanks in part to

02:31you gents isn't it you've played a part in funding it i believe is that right yes yeah more than happy

02:36to do that so introduce yourselves and who you represent then gents i'm anthony nichols of anthony's

02:42of wellington yeah what is anthony's of wellington it's a farm shop in the town in wellington great

02:47stuff right i'm jim again local resident uh on this occasion and uh i'm here really to celebrate the

02:56uh the education of my daughter as she went through school from allerton lane right the way through to

03:03sixth form college with local education and they went on to oxford and got her first so oh wow this

03:09inspires me so yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah on a personal basis what did she do at oxford incidentally

03:16uh she she she did english literature she came out with the first at wadham college oxford yeah

03:23fantastic and what what do you think of what you've seen then of the of the mural it's gorgeous isn't it

03:28it is oh i think it's great i'm also a friend of the local nature reserve so uh it's you know it's it's

03:35the best possible subject as far as i'm concerned yeah well i'm a bit unfamiliar and so for people like me

03:41dot hill school here is is in amongst dot hill nature reserve which is a just tell me what dot hill

03:49nature reserve is there's lakes i believe and there are a number of lakes in there there are lots and

03:54lots of trees uh there's the bean brook runs through there's lots of drainage there um and uh the well we've

04:03we've we've got a 50 tree trail which yeah which is used for well-being walks there's a lot of well-being

04:10walks go go through there there's lots of activity there but but primarily it's a nature reserve yeah

04:17yeah and i understand the head teacher just said um to to neil the artist it's got to be that nature

04:23reserve you know eat some pictures of it kind of use this as your inspiration and uh he's done a treat

04:28hasn't it it has yes i mean the school is literally planted within the nature reserve um and it's good

04:35to remind the children obviously regularly of what is exactly on their doorstep and i grew up here as

04:41well and spent lots of time in the nature reserve um cycling walking and now i do the same with my

04:47children and it's yeah it's a place that definitely needs uh to be celebrated and used fantastic well thank
