00:00The other close battle came in Georgia Tech, right?
00:04Georgia Tech and Wake Forest.
00:06Georgia Tech was a double-digit favorite in this matchup, coach.
00:10They go on the road to Winston-Salem.
00:12They were on life support.
00:14They have to pull it out 30-29.
00:17They get through and get by.
00:19They don't get the cover, but they were very lackluster in that road win over the Demon Deacons.
00:27You know, I don't care where I've ever coached.
00:29When you start winning ballgames and you get three, then four, and undefeated, and you
00:34start believing in yourself, you also get complacent, and your biggest enemy becomes yourself.
00:40You may talk about, hey, we're going to take it one game at a time, but you don't really.
00:45And Georgia Tech, again, fell behind.
00:47They've had a problem of starting slow, kind of like Georgia does.
00:51They start slow, and they build up.
00:53I'll say this.
00:54With Haynes King at quarterback, you're never out of a game.
00:57He doesn't only take over the game.
00:59He takes over individual series.
01:01He takes over third downs.
01:03He takes over the football game.
01:05He scored on a goal-line run.
01:07He scored on pure toughness to get them back in the game.
01:11But they've got to quit falling behind.
01:14If they fall behind, it's going to cost them.
01:15If you don't remember, there was a critical third and five that if Wake Forest, if they
01:21don't get called for offsides, they get a first.
01:24They don't get a chance.
01:25And so they lose that game, but the luck that the official missed an offsides call on them.
01:30So they've got to stay focused and start faster.
01:33Quit waiting until the end of the game.
01:35Haynes King accounts for, again, over 300 yards of total offense, 102 yards on the ground,
01:41two rushing touchdowns, throws for 243 yards, and one touchdown through the air.
01:47You play like that at 25-1, he could be alive to win a Heisman Trophy.
01:51You play like that at 25-1, he could be alive to win a Heisman Trophy.
