00:04Have I pronounced that right sir? Well it's Jose. So how long have you been here then Jose?
00:10Nearly six years. Yeah and tell us about the mug house then what makes it so special other than
00:15it's of course fantastic setting. Well we love people, we love the view, we love Beaudley,
00:21we love what we do and we think we're pretty good at it. And is it all about the drinking,
00:27is it about the food, a bit of both? It's about everything, it's about looking after our
00:32punters you know regardless of what they want, food, drink and so on. And has it got the charm
00:38inside that we see from the outside? 100% warm welcome, great food, great surroundings.
00:48I'm just looking on the board you have quite a few different offers, we've got fish, Thursday and
00:52Friday's fish for two, two main courses, a bottle of wine there, deals on that, you have lots of
00:56different little offers on different days. Yeah we try to do something for all the locals and
01:02people beyond really, all our great support that we get throughout the year and we try to look
01:10after everyone as much as we can anyway. And if I was going to come and pick something off a dish
01:15what would you in particular recommend eating? I love everything on our menu, I know it's a bit of a
01:20cliche but I love everything on our menu and our menus are all seasonal so our current menu is
01:26autumn so it's all about great British food with a northern European touch, we serve you know fantastic
01:35liver and bacon which is very very popular, our fish and chips is unbelievably popular and we're just
01:42about to start on our amazing smash burgers, everything is homemade, the only thing we don't make in the pub is our bread and our ice cream, everything else is homemade.

02:01Yeah, no problem. So we're looking at the lovely fish they've got here in the beer garden, don't you want to come and look at the lovely fish?
02:07There's quite a few actually, they keep popping up there, some big goldies, one, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, look at them big orange ones, so we're with Heather, how are you doing Heather, are you okay?
02:22I am yes, I'm enjoying the fish. Yeah, so are you a regular here at the mug house then? Oh from time to time yes.
02:30Yeah, and we were saying they've got these fantastic grapes on the vine behind you and when you were last here you were commenting to one of the staff and they said I'll get yourself a couple of bunches and gave you some scissors for sniffing.
02:40I mean that's, they're very sweet, nobody seems to want to do it so I thought I'd break the chain. Cool, what did you do with them?
02:48Munch them when you've got to back home for your pud. It's a lovely pub isn't it? Lovely setting as well.
02:54It's very nice especially on weekends, it's buzzing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's buzzing.
