00:19Acting ice director Todd Lyons is here to react.
00:23Plus, patriotism in full display at the Ryder Cup, all thanks to President Trump.

00:52God first and foremost!
00:53God first and foremost!
00:55Brotherhood!
00:56Brotherhood!
00:57Why, it's all thanks to their Marine veteran coach.
01:02The third hour of Fox & Friends Weekend starts right now.
01:06For many of us that had that one high school coach or teacher,
01:14but particularly coach that motivated you,
01:17I've said forever I had a coach that was always talking about,
01:20we did not roll out of bed to be mediocre.
01:23Get out there and go.
01:24And, you know, those are the things that you remember from your high school years,
01:29what those coaches did for you,
01:31even more so than, like, how to solve algebra problems.
01:34And I credit my expertise at fantasy football to my, all of my coaches.
01:40And what is the secret to your team's success?
01:42Who's your coach, Wilkane?
01:43You don't.
01:44No, Rachel, I don't appreciate that.
01:47I don't appreciate you mocking my expertise at this.
01:51My brackets are unbroken for a reason.
01:53Wilkane.
01:54Well, I've helped you a little bit because I felt sorry.
01:58You have a star receiver.
02:00You're a star receiver.
02:02Your star receiver is?
02:06Puka Nikoa.
02:08Puka Nikoa.
02:09Why did it come through my ear, too, Charlie?
02:12Let's not pretend.
02:13Let's just not.
02:14By the way, I want to thank both of those ladies who are out there with the trades.
02:18They gave me that beautiful jewelry box with my name on it from the woodworking up in the UP of Michigan,
02:25but also Urban Southern Leather Smith.
02:28They gave me a beautiful cross purse that I can take when I travel.
02:32So what is the protocol on giving your wife a jewelry box?
02:37Can you give her a jewelry box that doesn't have jewelry in it?
02:40No, I definitely think you're right down the street from Tiffany's.
02:43So why don't you take care of that after the show and then bring back?
02:46So it has to be stuff.
02:46Yeah.
02:47Or Cartier, you can find Cartier just a block past that.
02:50Yeah, the box can't be in it.
02:51There's no excuse you're on Fifth Avenue.
02:54Well, you know, they've got great bags for sale on every corner around here.
03:00Yeah, but those aren't really old.
03:02Yeah, those aren't handmade by...
03:04They're real.
03:05Handmade by...
03:06They hold your money.
03:07Yeah, made by the Chinese.
03:09Yeah.
03:09I want American-made.
03:11So last week we told you about Griff Jenkins embedding with none other than Bigfoot himself.
03:17We finally, our producers finally found the footage of this from the archives.
03:23Watch.
03:24From chasing the judge with poorly dry, clean pants to running after another kind of beast,
03:29our senior pants reporter Griff Jenkins is here to fill us in on his latest adventure.
03:33I believe it involves Sasquatch.
03:35Sasquatch.
03:36It's plural.
03:37It's Sasquatches.
03:39They take this seriously.
03:40Most of the people there have done this before, this Bigfoot Field Research Organization,
03:45and they believe that there's somewhere between 2,000 and 6,000 of these things.
03:51Take a listen to this, and let me know what you think.
04:04It's not a coyote.
04:06Yeah.
04:07So we didn't find Bigfoot.
04:10You heard of Sasquatches.
04:12But we could hear them at night, and it was—
04:16Because that's not a coyote.
04:17No.
04:17No.
04:18And we did disturb probably coyotes.
04:20We were in, you know, the woman that was doing the woodworking, Jessie, that was out
04:24there with us.
04:25She's from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
04:27The UP, as they call it.
04:28That's where we were to do that.
04:30Very remote, beautiful area deep in the woods where Sasquatches are believed to exist.
04:36And, again, in full disclosure, we didn't see any, but there was perhaps a vacation cabin,
04:43log cabin there, or a family lived there, and we were at 2 o'clock in the middle of
04:48the night calling.
04:50There's a sort of a guttural deep call to communicate with Bigfoot, and other people—
04:55Can you demonstrate?
04:56Hit on—no.
04:57Hit on trees, and I think we terrified the people in that house because all the lights
05:03came on and dogs started barking.
05:04I think that recording was maybe other Sasquatch hunters, like the next ridge over, doing
05:09their call.
05:10It was great.
05:11It was actually a group called the Bigfoot Field Research Organization, and people paid
05:16to go on this three-day, you know, weekend hunt for Bigfoot.
05:21We embedded to cover the story because it was kind of a popular thing, and one gentleman
05:27was with his, like, 16-, 17-year-old son, and I pulled him aside and said, come on, you
05:32don't really believe in this.
05:33He said, let me tell you what, if this means I get to spend an entire weekend alone with
05:38my 16-year-old son who doesn't want anything to do with me, I believe every minute.
05:43God bless you.
05:43No, I would go to the UP to look for Bigfoot if I could have a pasty while I was up there.
05:48Yeah.
05:49That's what they're famous for there.
05:50All right.
05:51Well, no Bigfoot sightings.
05:53Just sounds.
05:54Meanwhile, President Trump greeted with a warm patriotic welcome while attending the Ryder
05:59Cup in Long Island to rally the team USA.
06:03Listen to this.
06:04USA!
06:06USA!
06:07USA!
06:07USA!
06:08USA!
06:08USA!
06:09USA!
06:09USA!
06:10USA!
06:10ア ihrer!
06:11Donald Trump!
06:11Donald Trump!
06:12Donald Trump!
06:14Donald Trump!
06:15In the national anthem, marking the president's arrival with a roaring flyover of F-18 fighter jets before the afternoon tee-off.
06:23The commander-in-chief and avid golfer joining U.S. Open star Bryson DeChambeau.
06:27On that helicopter there, Marine One, and also slated to play golf at the University of Miami next year.
06:35She's an athlete in her own right.
06:37It comes as President Trump is proving his status as America's number one sports fan.
06:46Earlier, I guess it was last week, President Trump talked to our own Peter Doocy, talking about how much he loves watching sports.
06:56Watch this.
06:58Favorite TV show not on a news channel.
07:01I don't get to watch very many.
07:03I mean, look, my favorite shows would be anything having to do with sports.
07:07And you like watching football.
07:09I watched the Yankees last night.
07:10They're doing very well since I went to the ballpark last week.
07:14Very well.
07:15I think they're going to be OK.
07:16But I love the sports.
07:18I love the fact that the Ryder Cup is coming up on Friday.
07:21In fact, I'm going out there on Friday.
07:24That's right.
07:25The president loves sports.
07:27It's authentic.
07:27That's why people respond to him coming to these events.
07:30It's not a political event for him.
07:32He actually genuinely loves sports.
07:34Look at all the events.
07:34He went to the Super Bowl.
07:35He went to the Daytona 500.
07:37Of course, he's been going to UFC fights forever, as well as WWF.
07:41FIFA Club World Cup final.
07:43The U.S. men's tennis final.
07:45MLB games.
07:46I'm going to tell you, Griff, I think the reason he loves going to these games and also
07:52being around athletes, it's something he's been doing for a long time.
07:55He'd go back before he was ever in politics.
07:57He loved to invite champions.
08:00Or a basketball game, and then they show up on the Jumbotron, and the whole place starts
08:05booing them out of there.
08:06It's humiliating.
08:07But I do think that it is, we talked about this earlier, it is a reminder that, you know,
08:13Trump understands that politics is in service of these things.
08:18Politics is not the end of, you know, it is not the purpose of politics.
08:24The politics is a purpose.
08:25The purpose of politics is to make a place, a country that, where people like this thrive
08:32and do well.
08:33And we do.
08:34We, it's not just winners.
08:35We love people who try hard things.
08:39Yes.
08:39We love people who do things that have never done, been done before.
08:42And, uh, and I think that that is what Trump respects so much about each and every one
08:49of these.
08:49I also think this is his understanding that culture matters and sports is part of culture.
08:55That is why he is, was always such a threat to the left.
08:59The left always wanted to own culture and Donald Trump, president Trump embraces culture.
09:06He's part of culture.
09:07And that is what the threat is because culture is culture.
09:11He's a, he's a threat to many Democrat led cities who have not taken crime and safety
09:19seriously enough because he's now saying, you know, getting world cup games in the U S
09:25is a big deal for soccer fans worldwide.
09:27That'll happen next year.
09:29And now president Trump is already saying he may not let games happen in cities that he
09:35deems unsafe.
09:36Listen to this.
09:38Could those games move if they don't cooperate with your crime?
09:41Well, that's an interesting, I guess, but we're going to make sure they're safe.
09:45Uh, they're run by radical left lunatics and that don't know what they're doing.
09:49We, as you probably know, we're going into Memphis and we're going into some other cities and
09:54very soon we're going to go into Chicago.
09:56It will be safe for the world cup.
09:58If it, if, if I think it isn't safe, we'll move it into a different city.
10:02Absolutely.
10:02We'll take the world.
10:03So if I think it's not, it's actually a very fair question.
10:07If I think it's not safe, we're going to move it out of that city.
10:10Now, Memphis, uh, to be fair, is not one of the cities that is hosting a world cup,
10:15but you do see Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, here in New York city,
10:21up in Boston, all cities where we've seen crime problems.
10:25And we've also seen these cities resisting efforts to take violent, criminal, illegal
10:30aliens off the street.
10:31Yeah.
10:32You know, I was just in Memphis, um, this past week and, uh, giving a speech to a wonderful
10:38pro-life organization.
10:39And boy, I couldn't believe how many people were excited about the national guard coming
10:45to that city.
10:46Um, they are welcoming the, um, the presence of, of, of troops there.
10:51They want their place to clean up.
10:53I told you earlier, Griff, I wouldn't doubt it all if they come out with cookies and cupcakes
10:59and whatever it takes, they're rolling out the red carpet for them because they want
11:03it cleaned up.
11:04These are cities that have been run by Democrats for decades.
11:06Yes.
11:07And, uh, and the idea that you have some mayors saying that this is a manufactured crisis,
11:13the idea that you would think that your citizens in your city that live under the rules that you
11:18have, uh, uh, perpetuated for decades, uh, getting murdered is a manufactured crisis.
11:25I think that this could be, it will be an interesting thing to watch, Charlie.
11:28And we'll talk more after we see what happens with the federal, uh, movement going into,
11:34to Memphis because I track it very closely.
11:36And the Democrat mayor has said he doesn't want the national guard on the streets.
11:40But then when I talked to my FBI and DHS sources, they say that he's actually really leaning
11:45into this and that the police chief of Memphis has long been supporting any kind of help they
11:51can get.
11:51Because they have to play political games about it.
11:53It may be a little bit of what we saw happening in DC with Democrat mayor Muriel Bowser saying,
11:58Hey, I'm going to welcome, I want to make sure my citizens feel okay about this, but I want to
12:02welcome the help that, that it's yet to be seen how that's going to go.
12:07Yes.
12:08Meanwhile, a scathing new report suggests the Los Angeles County response to the deadly fires
12:13back in January moved too slowly thanks to a lack of resources and outdated alert systems.
12:19Chanley Panner joins us now with the latest Chanley, what are you hearing?
12:23Hey, Rachel Griffin, Charlie.
12:24So it's a 132 page independent report.
12:28It was commissioned by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, and it reveals a series
12:32of failures in the county's efforts to warn and evacuate residents as the Eden and Palisade
12:38fires broke out nearly 10 months ago now.
12:41So this report finding a part quote, while frontline responders acted decisively and in many cases
12:47heroically, in the face of extraordinary conditions, the events underscored the need
12:52for clearer policies, stronger training, integrated tools, and improved public communication.
12:59The report also pointed to quote, outdated and inconsistent policies, protocols, and standard
13:05operating procedures created ambiguity around evacuation authority and responsibilities.
13:10And this all comes as the LA Daily News reveals that less than 10% of the some 11,000 homes
13:18destroyed in Palisades and Eton fires have been granted permits to rebuild.
13:24Well, President Trump weighed in last week saying this quote, unfortunately, the governor
13:28of California and Mayor Karen Bass failed you.
13:32The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to review this report in detail as
13:36it meets next Tuesday, guys.
13:38Back to you.
13:39Thank you so much, Chandley.
13:41Thanks, Chandley.
13:41Such an important story.
13:43And talk about issues that Democrat voters care about, safety in big urban states, cities,
13:49but also the idea, you know, California is overwhelmingly Democrat.
13:54And the idea that Democrat politicians, Democrat policies led to this.
14:00And, you know, I think it's a great opening for President Trump to go in there and make
14:07enormous headway with voters that Republicans tend to not even try to court.
14:13But it is appalling what Democrat politicians in California did to allow these fires to happen
14:19in the first place, but then also their response to it.
14:22And President Trump has such a great platform to talk from because he was talking about the dangers
14:30of not managing forests for a long time.
14:34And then, of course, you saw how poorly they responded to them.
14:39I mean, it was actually appalling.
14:42And there are several areas of Los Angeles that were impacted.
14:46But one of the areas is the Palisades.
14:48And the Palisades, there's a lot of Democrat donors there.
14:52And they are so angry right now.
14:55And if President Trump could do something, as you say, Charlie, to come in and help restore
15:01this city and fix the problems so that this never happens again.
15:04But more importantly, put pressure to allow people to build.
15:09A lot of these people can't build because the regulations that are going on.
15:12And there's a lot of people who think it's done on purpose so they can build multifamily
15:17housing instead of the single housing.
15:19So there's a lot going on right now politically and a lot of places for President Trump to
15:24come and make a difference and and also showcase the failures of the Democrat leadership.
15:29You're so right.
15:30Look, I spent days in the Pacific Palisades and Malibu in the destruction.
15:34But it's important to remember this began when the mayor who had the knowledge of the warning
15:40that it was coming chose to be in Africa before it hit.
15:45And now we are at this point where many Democrat people whose homes were destroyed want things
15:51to change with the backdrop of years of regulatory things put in by Democrats that are making
15:58the challenge.
15:59It should not be a partisan political issue.
16:01It's a common sense issue.
16:02And again and again, Donald Trump has demonstrated that he is he is right on those common sense
16:08issues.
16:09No, no question about that, Mayor.
16:11She's bad news.
16:12She's been bad news since the 60s when she was volunteering to to work in the sugar cane
16:17fields with her revolutionary group for Fidel Castro.
16:21So she's she is bad news.
16:23All right, turning now to your headlines and dramatic surveillance video showing ICE agents
16:30protecting detainees from gunfire that rained down on an ICE facility in Dallas earlier this
16:36week.
16:37Police say the suspect opened fire on the building from a rooftop in a shooting that targeted
16:42federal agents.
16:44Remarkable footage there.
16:45Joshua John is charged with killing one detainee and critically hurting two others in the attack
16:52before killing himself.
16:54A new poll showing that New Jersey governor candidates Mikey Sherrill and Jack Cidratelli
17:00are in a dead heat.
17:03This comes as Cidratelli says that voters are fed up with Democratic policies.
17:10They've had it with eight years of failed Phil Murphy policies on taxes, on spending, public
17:15safety, nonviolent crime is through the roof, overdevelopment or suburban communities, people's
17:21about the electric bill is going through the roof.
17:23It's all been a complete failure for eight years.
17:26Cidratelli and Sherrill are set to debate again on October 8th, just a few weeks before
17:32the November 4th election.
17:34Boy, this is the race to watch.
17:37It is so exciting.
17:39And the Democrat really suffering.
17:41And the Republican looking like he's got a real shot at this.
17:44A youth football team in California is going viral for their inspiring pre-game chant.
17:51You're going to want to watch this.
17:53We strive to be perfect.
17:55We strive to be perfect.
17:57One day we'll be good.
17:59One day we'll be good.
18:00God's first and foremost.
18:02God's first and foremost.
18:04Brotherhood.
18:05Brotherhood.
18:06It's up to me.
18:07It's up to me.
18:08I'm proud to lead.
18:08I'm proud to lead.
18:10Show your heart.
18:10Show your heart.
18:11Oh, they're never going to forget that chant for the rest of their lives.
18:18And, of course, they learned that chant from their assistant head coach, thanks to his
18:23experience in the Marine Corps.
18:26They're all going to join us live tomorrow.
18:27You're going to want to stick around for those cute kids and their awesome coaches.
18:31All right.
18:32That's so fantastic.
18:33Isn't it great?
18:33Yeah, it's great.
18:35I mean, just that spirit and God, first and foremost, brotherhood, really impacting him
18:40at a young age to strive to be better.
18:43Yeah, that's the kind of league you want your kid to be in, right?
18:45Yeah.
18:46That kind of team.
18:46Yeah, if you can't make my fantasy league roster, that's what you want to be on.
18:52All right.
18:52Who's your quarterback?
18:54Will Kane.
18:55Undefeated.
18:55Undefeated.
18:56Here we go.
18:56All right.
18:57Still to come, using AI for financial advice, a startling new survey might have you reconsidering
19:02that move as more of Fox & Friends Weekend is ahead.
19:06Former FBI Director James Comey is indicted for alleged false statements and obstruction
19:11of congressional proceedings.
19:13President Trump, meanwhile, says Comey is pushing the back on the charges, saying they're
19:18not true.
19:20My heart is broken for the Department of Justice, but I have great confidence in the federal
19:26judicial system and I'm innocent.
19:29So let's have a trial and keep the faith.
19:34Let's bring in Fox News contributor Miranda Devine.
19:37So when you look at that video of James Comey saying that to the camera, what do you think?
19:44Well, I think that if I were his lawyer, I'd be having conniptions because really you're
19:49not supposed to open your mouth after you've been indicted.
19:53It just shows the arrogance of the man and sort of the nuttiness of him.
19:59You know, it was just a couple of weeks ago that he was doing that Swifty, reading out words
20:04from Taylor Swift songs and saying he was a Swifty.
20:08I mean, I don't know how old he thinks he is.
20:11He just seems like a ridiculous figure.
20:14And his judgment throughout his tenure at the FBI was flawed.
20:19And he's just a weak and silly sort of man.
20:23So when you go through the list of charges, he's charged with false statements within the
20:27jurisdiction of the legislative branch of the U.S.
20:30government and obstruction of a congressional proceeding.
20:33When nobody has studied the work, you know, the Russia hoax that he perpetuated more than you
20:42have of these charges, which do you think are the more serious charges that he faces?
20:47Look, I mean, it's about his lying to Congress and the statute of limitations of five years
20:56was running out on Tuesday.
20:58So this had to be, I guess, thrown together in a hurry.
21:03And it's not the Department of Justice that has done this.
21:08It was a grand jury in a very liberal state and a liberal area of that state in Virginia.
21:15So, you know, these are legitimate charges and they are serious.
21:20I think that it was a little disappointing.
21:23There had been some run up to this with various people saying, well, you know, there's going
21:29to be conspiracy charges and it's going to include John Brennan and James Clapper and
21:35maybe even go all the way up to Barack Obama, who set the whole Russia hoax events in train.
21:43So let's think that this may be the tip of the iceberg.
21:49I know Mike Davis has, who's a lawyer, he thinks that there are many more charges to come.
21:56But this was just an easy one to pluck off the tree and say, well, we'll get it in before the statute of limitations is up.
22:04There's clear evidence that James Comey was untruthful when he testified five years ago.
22:11And so, you know, that's a serious charge.
22:14I mean, it carries obstruction, carries actually 20 years and the false statement carries five years.
22:22And there are people who are in jail, including, I will say, Alexander Smirnov, who was an FBI
22:28confidential human source, who was asked to give his handler information about Joe Biden, did so,
22:37and then ended up in jail for giving false statements to the FBI.
22:42So people have been jailed for this.
22:44And I don't think that Comey should be quite so glib.
22:49Indeed.
22:50Miranda, thank you so much.
22:52Pleasure.
22:54So people used to ask their parents for financial advice.
22:57Now AI is taking over.
23:00A new survey shows that 82 percent of young adults in the U.S. have asked AI for financial advice.
23:07And 52 percent of them who acted on it say that advice actually hurt their finances.
23:13Let's bring in Fox Business contributor Jonathan Honig.
23:17Jonathan, it's great to have you on.
23:18You're such a you're such a cheerleader for capitalism.
23:21I've always loved that about you.
23:23What don't you love about people going to AI?
23:27For their financial advice.
23:30Well, quite simply, Rachel, these young people, these Gen Z and these millennials aren't listening
23:34to good advice.
23:35I mean, 33 percent of them, despite their querying AI, a third of them use credit cards just to
23:42get by each month, just to pay their monthly bills.
23:44And only 20 percent of them have actually even ever balanced a checkbook.
23:48A third of them have zero savings whatsoever.
23:51So they might be asking AI, but they're not listening some basic to some basic financial
23:56standards like, for example, saving more than you spend.
24:01So this generation, unfortunately, is on a real lot of issues, a lot of trouble.
24:05And ironically, Rachel, our own government is at the heart of a lot of it.
24:09I mean, these are young people that came up during that era of free pandemic money.
24:13Remember, we were literally sending people checks, telling them to spell to spend them.
24:17So they've been raised with a lot of bad financial acumen, a lot of bad financial habits, and
24:23it's showing up in the fact that less than less than half of them actually feel financially
24:27secure.
24:28OK, I'm going to push back on you just a little bit on that.
24:30But before I do, what I found interesting in this report was that a lot of them said they
24:35went to AI because they were embarrassed to ask.
24:38Like, I would go to my parents for advice, right?
24:40Or my kids come to me for advice.
24:41But it is true that young people are really relying on AI to ask almost every question
24:47from mental health to finances.
24:49So, you know, we have to figure out what is what exactly is AI telling them to do that's
24:55causing this.
24:56Now, let's talk a little bit about this Gen Z situation.
25:00You say they're raised on free, a lot of free stuff from COVID checks and loan deferments
25:07on their student loans.
25:08But I would also say that things are tougher.
25:11I mean, you could I mean, I could buy a house when I was 28 years old because my first house
25:17cost about $60,000.
25:19That's impossible these days.
25:21So I also think and we heard the vice president talking about it, Jonathan, this week.
25:26It's a little tougher for them.
25:28Do you think you're being a little hard on Gen Z?
25:30I'm stating the facts as they are, Rachel.
25:33I mean, loan forgiveness was a big part of the Biden administration appeal to these younger
25:38generations.
25:39They've got something on the order of 40.
25:41Millennials have something on the order of $40,000 in student loan debt, go towards degrees
25:48that will never pay that off.
25:49So what they're seeing is, as we're seeing here, their FICO scores plummet dramatically.
25:53That's going to make it very expensive for them to get that first house.
25:57Exactly what you're talking about.
25:58So no question, young people have, I think, a lot more difficult than they had when we
26:02were younger.
26:03But our own government's policies have a lot to do with why that's the case.
26:07Yeah.
26:08But back in the day, Jonathan, a house costs, you know, maybe two, three times your annual
26:12income.
26:12It's now seven, eight times your annual income.
26:15So that's not that's not a fair that's not a fair comparison.
26:19But I do.
26:19But I do agree with the government's role in this.
26:22Getting a college education, Jonathan, is way too expensive.
26:26And part of that is because we continue to subsidize universities like Harvard that are
26:30sitting on 60 billion dollars of of endowments.
26:33Right.
26:34That's way too expensive.
26:35And of course, we subsidize the loans themselves.
26:38Yeah.
26:38We give these young people, you know, hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of below market
26:42loans for degrees that ultimately don't pay off in the back.
26:46And Rachel, I have to tell you what worries me and the financial markets now we're starting
26:49to see a slowing job market.
26:52That's going to hurt these younger people more than anyone.
26:54But the good news is, is that we're still in America, the most individualistic, creative,
26:58entrepreneurial, innovative society in history.
27:01So as long as these young people keep the faith, as long as they keep trying, keep working
27:05hard, I don't think there's anyone who can't succeed in this great country.
27:08I agree with your optimism, but I don't think our government should subsidize these universities.
27:13Absolutely not.
27:14We should learn our lesson.
27:15They're just driving the cost up.
27:16Jonathan, great to have you on.
27:18CapitalistPig.com is his website.
27:21Always love that.
27:22I have that T-shirt.
27:23Thanks for joining us.
27:25Thanks, Rachel.
27:25Be well.
27:25You got it.
27:29We are back on Fox Square with more skilled professionals, inspiring the next generation
27:33of women.
27:35Joining us now, Christina Harris, a welder and metal sculptor and the owner of Stilettos
27:41and Steel Toes Welding and Fabrication.
27:45There aren't a whole lot of women in the welding business, are there?
27:48No, there aren't.
27:49It is starting to grow in that community, and we're seeing a lot of more welcoming of
27:54women in trades, and they are very good at it.
27:56You're not in stilettos, but you are in steel toe boots, and you're going to show us how
28:02this goes.
28:02Yeah.
28:03So I brought some of my work here.
28:04I have these roses that are the most popular because they make good gifts for people,
28:09and then I also do plasma art that I have over here.
28:12Oh, that's awesome.
28:13We have an American Rosie over here.
28:15Show us some of what you're doing.
28:17Show us how it works.
28:18So what I'll do is I will take weld a petal on one of these roses here so you can see briefly
28:23what I do.
28:30Wow, this is...
28:31You don't want to look at it.
28:32Amazing.
28:32And yeah, don't look at the light.
28:34When did you start welding?
28:35I started in the Union as a pipe boulder 11 years ago, and with that, learning that skill,
28:40I was able to start doing art.
28:42Amazing.
28:44All right, let's get that going.
28:46So nice to have the United Nations in town.
28:49Now, how long have you been doing this?
28:5112 years almost.
28:52Wow.
28:55Great stuff.
28:57And then we have the leaves on there.
28:59What is your website again?
29:02Stilettosandsteeltoesweldings.com, correct?
29:03Yes.
29:04Great name.
29:05Thank you so much.
29:05Thank you very much.
29:06You should buy her stuff just for the name.
29:08It's so good.
29:08Stilettosandsteeltoesweldings.com.
29:09All right, and then we're going to talk to Dina Young.
29:12So good to see you.
29:13Nice to meet you, too.
29:13So show us some of what you've got here.
29:16Yeah, so what we brought with us today is our signature product.
29:18It's called the Mod 5.
29:20Stewart's going to show us how it assembles.
29:22It's a patented joinery system where everything assembles without any tools or hardware.
29:26And then it all flat packs for easy moving shipping and storage.
29:30So our tables are...
29:31It's great for, like, college dorms.
29:32It's great for, really, anybody.
29:33We've sold to all different demographics.
29:36It's, you know, it's height-adjustable as well as has a lot of different accessories.
29:40So the idea is that it's a sustainable design that can keep being reconfigured so that it
29:45should never end up in a landfill.
29:46It should just keep kind of morphing into...
29:48Something else you need in your house.
29:49Whatever you need in that stage of life.
29:50Exactly.
29:50It's amazing.
29:51Exactly.
29:52So, Dina, when did you start 5.0 Design and why did you start it?
29:54So this was a COVID pivot for us.
29:56We had been in business for over 20 years making custom cabinetry.
29:59And then we just pivoted during the pandemic and we designed this joinery system.
30:06And then we kind of got back to our wood roots and applied it to wood and started...
30:10Because during COVID, a lot of people were working from home and they needed that desk.
30:14Exactly.
30:14So, 5.0 Design dot com.
30:17Exactly.
30:18Thank you so much.
30:19Thank you so much.
30:20Dina, Christina, thank you very much.
30:23Stick around.
30:23More of Fox & Friends weekend.
30:25So, is Kamala Harris gearing up for a 2028 comeback?
30:29That is what the Wall Street Journal was asking after an interview where she said she still
30:33views herself as a leader of the Democrat Party.
30:37Former vice president saying, quote, I was the Democrat nominee for president.
30:42I came close to winning.
30:44Of course I do.
30:45Of course I do.
30:45Harris has declined to roll out another presidential bid as she makes the rounds on her book tour
30:51for 107 days.
30:54That's the title of her book.
30:55Where she recounts her failed 2024 campaign.
31:00Just remember, Charlie, the children of the community are the children of the community.
31:05Of course she's the leader of the party.
31:07Something like that.
31:08And a storm chaser catching this breathtaking moment in central Florida.
31:14You can see the gloomy sky glowing as lightning struck next to a double rainbow.
31:22The stunning sight happened earlier this week in a suburb east of Tampa.
31:28The videographers said they were in awe to finally achieve their dream of capturing a rainbow
31:34rainbow and lightning together.
31:37And those are your headlines.
31:41So today with us, you guys, we have a really nice surprise.
31:44We have Britta from the Weather Channel here at Fox.
31:46She's this her first time here at Fox and Friends.
31:49So first of all, welcome.
31:50Thank you for having me.
31:51So happy to have you.
31:52It's good to be with you.
31:54So how rare is this phenomenon?
31:56You know, obviously you're never going to have a rainbow without rain.
31:59And that comes with the thunderstorm activity.
32:01But to be able to capture both at the same time is pretty phenomenal.
32:05Because you can imagine lightning quick as what, right?
32:08So double rainbow refers not to two rainbows, but the lightning and the rainbow that we saw.
32:15I mean, I think I've got to get a clarification on that.
32:16Wow, you're getting really deep into it.
32:18I mean, we can have double arcs with a rainbow.
32:20The cool thing about a double rainbow is that the second arc, it flips the Rory G. Biv.
32:25So we all know that from grade school, right?
32:27Yep, the colors actually flip.
32:29All right.
32:29Well, listen, it's great to have you here.
32:32Let's get some weather going.
32:33Yes.
32:34And today we have a lot to talk about.
32:35So we have a budding tropical system.
32:37And get this, a Category 4 hurricane in the Atlantic.
32:40So it has been very quiet thus far for the Atlantic hurricane season.
32:45And now all of a sudden the Atlantic has woken up, something that we have seen in so many seasons.
32:48And I've got to tell you, if you live along the southeast coastline, you need to wake up this morning.
32:53Talk to your families about what your plan is going to be.
32:57This is potential tropical cyclone number nine.
32:59There is going to be an impact to the U.S. most likely, even if it's fringe impacts.
33:04The challenging thing is our computer models are completely divided.
33:07And we're not going to have clarity until we get farther into this weekend.
33:11The cone right now does call for a Category 1 hurricane staying offshore.
33:15But even with that solution, we would have very heavy rainfall that could last for days for the Carolinas.
33:20With so many questions to answer, you've got to stick to Fox Weather.
33:22We're on it all day long.
33:23Download that free Fox Weather app today.
33:25Back to you guys.
33:26Thanks, Britta.
33:27Thank you, Britta.
33:28Thank you, Britta.
33:29Good stuff.
33:29Meanwhile, protesters in Illinois calling for violence just days after a gunman killed one
33:35and hurt two at a Texas ice facility.
33:39Arrest ice!
33:41Arrest ice!
33:42Arrest ice!
33:44Arrest ice!
33:45Shoot ice!
33:47Shoot ice!
33:48Shoot the f***!
33:49Shoot the f***!
33:50Just unbelievable.
33:58Acting ice director Todd Lyons joining us now to react to that.
34:02Director Lyons, I am stunned that you have literally 48 hours, a little more, after you
34:09had your Dallas ice facility shot into, lives lost, and yet these protesters are out there
34:17chanting, shoot ice, your reaction.
34:20It's disgusting and horrible.
34:22I'm on the ground right now in Dallas meeting with those brave men and women that responded
34:27to those shootings and had to take sniper fire in a large American city, but to hear those
34:31people chant, shoot ice, that's just uncalled for.
34:35It's disgusting.
34:36It's vile.
34:37And that just shows you where we're at.
34:39You have people out there trying to impede law enforcement from doing their mission.
34:44That's all the men and women of ice are doing.
34:45They're doing a law enforcement mission.
34:47And you have people out there actively calling for them to be shot.
34:50It's disgusting and vile, and we're not going to stand for it.
34:53President Trump's made it clear.
34:54We're going to go ahead and arrest these individuals.
34:57We're going to go ahead and show them that they can't do this.
35:00Secretary Noem has the back of every men and women of ice.
35:04She's given us every resource.
35:05She's been involved from the first time the rounds started coming down, and she's dedicated
35:10to making sure the men and women of ice are protected and safe.
35:13You know, Director Lyons, you mentioned that all your officers and agents are doing out
35:17there is enforcing federal immigration law.
35:19And it occurs to me that ICE has been conducting federal immigration law removing criminal illegal
35:28aliens in this country for decades across Republican and Democrat administrations.
35:34Why now, all of a sudden, is there such a target on ICE agents' back to be at risk of literally
35:42being shot at in the case of Dallas?
35:44You know, Griff, you and I have talked before.
35:47You know, I'm going on 20 years in law enforcement, specifically with ICE, and it's never been like
35:52this.
35:53You know, go back to even after January 20th.
35:55We're in every major city doing law enforcement duties every day.
35:59You know, and it's the rhetoric, and it's the crazy talk by elected officials in these
36:04activist groups that are just stirring the pot and causing all this violence right now.
36:10That's the reason why.
36:11Nothing's changed in ICE's posture.
36:12We're still doing the same exact mission we've done for decades under so many different
36:17administrations.
36:17We're out there getting the worst of the worst.
36:19Yet, you have elected officials that are actively calling us Nazis, Gestapos, telling
36:25people to actively resist us.
36:27There's no place in American society for that.
36:30All we are are law enforcement officers doing our day-to-day mission.
36:34And these men and women of ICE are so brave.
36:36I had the chance to sit down with them yesterday.
36:38It was an emotional conversation.
36:40They're great people.
36:40It just hurts me to know that they had a deal with sniper fire.
36:44And it's just, it's so wrong.
36:46Well, and they're heroes to run into that gunfire to try and rescue the migrants.
36:50Just quickly on this point, because I want to get to the arrest you have out in Des Moines.
36:54But, you know, short of the Nazi Gestapo slave patrols, even I just saw yesterday in Flagged,
37:00Todd, that Representative Pramila Jayapal, posting in the wake of this tragedy in Dallas
37:05that, you know, they aren't going after the worst of the worst, she says.
37:09They're kidnapping U.S. citizens and destroying American families.
37:12ICE is a rogue agency that must be reined in.
37:15Even short of the Nazi talk, you're not kidnappers.
37:17Clarify.
37:19No, we're not.
37:20And you see, you know, you've been out with us on ride-alongs.
37:22Everyone in the American public can go to any of our, you know, social media websites
37:25and see exactly what we're doing.
37:27I think we are so transparent in who we are arresting.
37:30We're not arresting U.S. citizens.
37:32But I'll tell you what, if a U.S. citizen puts their hands on one of my officers or agents
37:35or impedes the arrest, then we are taking action.
37:38They will be arrested.
37:38All right.
37:40We've got to leave it there.
37:41We've run out of time.
37:42Acting Director Todd Lyons, thank you for taking time today in our prayers for your men
37:47and women in federal immigration law enforcement out there doing the job that they're told to
37:51do.
37:52Thank you very much, Director Lyons.
37:54Appreciate it.
37:54All right.
37:55More Fox & Friends Weekend continues.
