00:00You're sending in, especially the ones with the American flag. So great to be here with you,
00:04Lisa, and with you. Thanks for having me. Great to be with you guys. It's great to be here. And
00:07you know, those pictures are going to start changing because if you were holding on to
00:11summer, it's gone. It's still a little warm here. The kids are back to school. Let's get back to
00:21it. Let's do it. Yes, indeed. Meanwhile, we need to start with a Fox News alert because we have
00:26news overnight. The president's peace through strength agenda making major progress in an
00:31Oval Office address. President Trump says his administration is very close to ending the war
00:36in Gaza and returning the final 48 hostages to their families. That's right. Hamas partially
00:41agreeing to the White House's 20 point peace plan after Trump warned the terror group that it will
00:46face, quote, all hell if it did not accept the deal by 6 p.m. this Sunday. Hamas releasing a statement
00:52saying in part, quote, it, quote, affirms its readiness to immediately enter negotiations
00:57through mediators to discuss the details of the agreement, end quote. Here is President Trump
01:03yesterday. I want to thank the countries that helped me put this together. Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia,
01:11Egypt, Jordan, and so many others. So many people fought so hard. This is a big day. We'll see how it
01:20all turns out. We have to get the final word down in concrete. Very importantly, I look forward to
01:27having the hostages come home to their parents and having some of the hostages, unfortunately,
01:34you know the condition they're in, come home likewise to their parents because their parents wanted them
01:40just as much as though that young man or young woman were alive. So I just want to let you know that
01:48this is a very special day, maybe unprecedented in many ways. It is unprecedented. But thank you all
01:57and thank you all to those great countries that helped. We were given a tremendous amount of help.
02:03Everybody was unified in wanting this war to end and seeing peace in the Middle East.
02:08And we're very close to achieving that. Thank you all. And everybody will be treated fairly.
02:16The news overnight receiving an outpouring of gratitude from hostage families who say they
02:21can't wait to hold their loved ones again. The father of fallen hostage, Etai Chen, saying,
02:28my family has been waiting two years for the return of my son, Israel's hero.
02:32President Trump gives me hope that the day we are reunited with Etai is near.
02:38And mother of Israeli soldier Matan Angras, still in captivity, writes,
02:43after two years of suffering, I feel closer than ever to hug my son Matan again.
02:48But it's cautious optimism this morning with Hamas only partially accepting Trump's peace plan and
02:55giving no clear response to surrendering its weapons.
02:58We go straight to Steve Harrigan, joining us live from Tel Aviv with more. Good morning, Steve.
03:04Good morning. Certainly not out of the woods yet, but that feeling that President Trump expressed
03:09there, that feeling of hope that is being shared today by many Israelis as well. Hope that good
03:14things can be coming here within the next few days. First, the overall look of this proposal and where
03:20each side stands on as far as the hostage release goes. Hamas officials indicating a willingness to
03:25release those 48 hostages, 20 of whom are still believed to be alive, suffering incredibly difficult
03:31conditions, two years in captivity, almost just a few days from now. Also agreeing to hand over power to
03:38other Palestinian groups in Gaza, not mentioning some key details. Will they disarm? Will they agree not to
03:45be a part of future ruling clans inside of Gaza? They have not agreed to that yet. So some key possible
03:52sticking points as well. Israel agreeing to what it calls the first stage of this program. That would
03:58be the hostage release. After that, they would halt their offensive. They would allow in massive amounts
04:03of humanitarian aid and also release some Palestinian prisoners. Around the table, the response so far
04:09has been positive. President Trump welcoming the response from Hamas. Families of hostages saying
04:15these are decisive days right now in Israel and ordinary Israelis on the streets expressing a rare
04:21sign of hope about this crisis. Here's one. It should have happened a very long time ago, not only now,
04:29but I think that it's good that Trump, he's pressuring with this peace plan and hopefully it will end up
04:37soon and we can get all the hostages back. And in the bigger picture, we are just days away from
04:45October 7th, two years ago. That's when Hamas attacked and killed almost 1,200 Israelis, took 251
04:52Israelis hostage. On the other side, thousands of Palestinians killed and displaced in the fighting
04:57that followed. Back to you guys. So, Steve, President Trump has put a deadline of 6 p.m. tomorrow,
05:03eastern Washington, D.C. time for when he wants to see those hostages released. Do you see,
05:11is there any activity on the ground there that suggests Hamas is actually preparing to meet that
05:17deadline? We haven't seen it yet. On the other side, we have seen more strikes overnight by the
05:24Israelis. So, it has not yet quieted down. We are not seeing any withdrawal at this point, Griff.
05:29Steve, let me go into what you were talking about, which is the real question marks are whether or not
05:36Hamas will agree to fully disarm and to not become part of a future government when the Palestinians
05:45take over. Where does that head? Where are we headed with that? Or are we just sort of waiting to find
05:52out whether or not they will get on board with that? I think those are two key sticking points,
05:58and I think it's complicated by the fact that many people try to speak for Hamas. You've got people
06:03inside of Gaza and outside leadership outside of the Gaza Strip as well. So, it's hard to get an exactly
06:09clear read on where they stand at that. So far, hostage release, but as you say, nothing about
06:14disarmament and nothing about taking part in future power arrangements inside of Gaza. Two key sticking
06:20points on Hamas' side. Steve, you know, obviously those are going to be sticking points from Israel.
06:26You're in Israel now. What are you hearing from the Israelis about sort of this initial response from
06:30Hamas? You know, it's been such hardship here on this side, such worrying, such grief. It's really
06:38been two years of grief and agony, not only for the families of those hostages, but for really the
06:43entire country who's warned along with those families. And I think it's an unusual feeling here. I think
06:48there's a real cautious amount of hope that good things could be happening.
06:53All right. Thank you, Steve. Thanks, Steve.
06:55Thank you. Appreciate it. All right. Meanwhile, in Washington, D.C., the government shutdown has
07:00spilled into the weekend after Senate Democrats blocked the GOP's fourth attempt to get back to
07:05work. Madeline Rivera is live in Washington with the latest. Good morning, Maddie.
07:09Good morning. Both sides appear to be digging further into their positions. The latest attempt to reopen
07:14the government failed again, largely along a party line vote of 54 to 44. Three Senate Democratic
07:20Caucus members voted for the bill. Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, Nevada Senator Catherine
07:25Cortez Masto and Maine Senator Angus King. One Republican defected, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul,
07:31who's rejected the cost of the bill.
07:34You have FEMA services, health insurance policies, for example, that are being stalled in the middle
07:39of a hurricane season because the Democrats want to play political games and try to obscure the real
07:45facts at issue. It's all about President Trump and the Democrats needing to pick a fight to satisfy
07:50their far left political base, far left activist organizations who are the tail wagging the dog
07:57right now. Democrats remain steadfast in their push for health care concessions like the extension of
08:03those Obamacare subsidies. Republicans say they do want to deal with the issue, but first,
08:07the government must reopen. They also want reforms in the program.
08:12In fact, in fiscal year 2024, Medicaid costs for emergency services for illegal immigrants
08:18skyrocketed by 142 percent from the previous year to $9.1 billion. When a legal alien goes to the
08:27emergency room, who's paying for it? Democrats argue people who are in the country illegally can't
08:33access programs like Medicare and Medicaid. While that is technically true, Democrats want to restore
08:38all health care provisions, including access to Medicaid, Medicare and Obamacare subsidies for lawfully
08:44present non-citizens like refugees, asylees and parolees. The one big beautiful bill makes it harder
08:50and in some cases bars these groups of people from using these benefits. Meantime, the administration
08:55has targeted funding in blue cities and states and threatened mass layoffs to get congressional
09:00Democrats to blink. Lisa, Charlie and Griff. Thank you. Thanks, Maddie. Thanks, Maddie. You know,
09:05it really is kind of amazing the situation the Democrats find themselves in. They are sort of
09:10the party that believes that the federal government is the answer to all of our problems, and yet they
09:15want to shut down the thing that they claim is the answer to all of our problems. And so it's kind
09:20of a they're kind of in a pickle right now. Well, you know, I think the Democrats are the ones that
09:26are in a weaker position now simply just for the fact that Republicans passed a clean CR in the House.
09:30I mean, they even got the Freedom Caucus, you know, people that want to reduce spending levels
09:34to get on board of that. So it's really the balls in the Democrats hands with this. And look,
09:38they voted for 13 continuing resolutions under President Biden. This is not a party that stands
09:44in opposition to continue resolutions. In fact, the government seems to only operate off of continuing
09:48resolutions these days. So obviously, the sticking point of some of this health care stuff and also
09:53concerns about, you know, health care going to illegal aliens. But, you know, what are the
09:58Democrats off ramps right now? Well, and, you know, those 13 times that Chuck Schumer voted for a
10:04clean CR, this is the same one, as you point out. And so Chuck Schumer of 2013, who believed that a
10:11shutdown was a politics of idiocy now believes it's a good thing. And it's really shocked Senator
10:16Kennedy. You had this reaction last night on Ingram. The Republicans went to the Democrats and said,
10:23look, let's just extend the then current budget for seven more weeks while we negotiate a new one.
10:30And to our surprise, the Democrats said, no, we will not vote to do that. In fact, we'll shut down
10:39government unless you agree to give us $1.5 trillion. And we'll tell you how to spend it.
10:48Well, I mean, you know, our heads snapped back. Look, I wasn't about to vote for that. My mother
10:55didn't raise a fool. And if she did, it was one of my brothers. And every Republican felt the same way.
11:02So we said no. And that's why we're in a shutdown. Now, Senator Schumer is getting a lot of the blame.
11:08And Lord knows he deserves it because he instructed all the Senate Democrats to vote to shut down
11:14government. But he's not really calling the shots. The group calling the shots is the socialist wing,
11:22the loon wing of the Democratic Party.
11:27He puts it pretty clearly.
11:29Yeah, as only Senator Kennedy can. You had mentioned what's the difference between Chuck Schumer back in,
11:34let's say, 2013. And now, well, he's a little bit worried about a primary challenge, maybe from AOC.
11:39That's his concern. You've got his party has shifted to the left. So he is concerned that he's got,
11:44you know, he's going to be challenged from the left. So that's the difference. And I remember I was
11:48working on Capitol Hill during 2013 when we had a shutdown also over, you know, Obamacare and concerns
11:53there. But remember, President Obama tried to make it as painful as possible because he barricaded World
12:00War Two memorials. He wanted the visuals of a shutdown to be presented to the American people.
12:05Do you remember? Yeah. He wanted to punish taxpayers.
12:08Exactly. For the fact that Congress is completely dysfunctional.
12:11But like he wanted the visual of it. Yeah. And and I love that Democrats are scrambling now to claim
12:17that they don't want to provide free health care to illegals. When, of course, for years now,
12:23the entire party has been completely committed. That has been their holy grail is providing not
12:29only free health care to illegals, but also free housing to illegals. And we saw it across the
12:34country. We sure did. And I love, by the way, that. So the one big, beautiful bill did away with
12:40those provisions and provided health care for legal aliens, Democrats put forth their Democrat CR,
12:46which was, as Senator Kennedy pointed out, a one and a half trillion dollar four week extension.
12:51But Speaker Johnson brought the receipts and laid out on his speaker dot gov page, page 57,
12:58section 2141. Here are all of the things that we are going to get rid of. And, you know,
13:06it's one thing to say for Democrats to accuse Republicans of saying it's just a talking point.
13:11But here, Speaker Johnson's got the receipts. And I think to your point, Lisa, it's not clear
13:15there's an off ramp to this and it doesn't seem there's any change of heart in Democrats in
13:19Washington. Someone's going to have to eat crow and no one wants to eat it. So we'll see where
13:23that goes. But turning now to your headlines, the U.S. launching a strike on an alleged drug
13:30boat in Venezuela, which President Trump says was carrying enough drugs to kill 25 to 50,000
13:35people. Secretary of War Pete Hexeth writing, quote, our intelligence without a doubt confirmed
13:40this vessel was trafficking narcotics. The people on board were narco terrorists. These
13:45strikes will continue until the attacks on the American people are over. This, as the
13:50administration says, the U.S. is engaged in a formal armed conflict with drug cartels.
13:57Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's attempted assassin has been sentenced to eight years in
14:02prison. Nicholas Roski pleaded guilty to one charge of attempting to murder a Supreme Court
14:08justice. DOJ prosecutors asked for 30 years behind bars. Attorney General Pam Bondi reacted
14:14to the ruling, writing on X, the Justice Department will be appealing the woefully insufficient sentence
14:19imposed by the district court, which does not reflect the horrific facts of this case.
14:27Meanwhile, New Jersey candidates for governor, Mikey Sherrill and Jack Cittarelli sitting down
14:31to discuss energy costs, immigration and other top issues for voters.
14:35We're going to freeze them initially and then work to drive down costs.
14:39The opponent has put forth an illegitimate plan that is not feasible. We also have to produce
14:44more electricity. To have people like that on our streets fully armed is not safe.
14:49And I think every governor should do their job to not encourage illegal immigration by having
14:54sanctuary cities.
14:55And we will dive deeper with Republican candidate Jack Cittarelli joining us later this morning.
15:01In case you missed it, Taylor Swift's 12th studio album breaking multiple records within the first
15:08day of release. Spotify announcing Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl became the platform's most
15:14streamed album in a single day so far this year, while The Fate of Ophelia became the most streamed song
15:22in a single day in Spotify history. The theatrical debut of the official release of Life of a Showgirl is
15:29also expected to dominate the box office with reports showing the movie could bring in between
15:34$35 to $40 million. I caught up with some Swifties outside the theater yesterday. Watch.
15:41I have absolutely no words for how incredible she is. Every time I think she has done her best work,
15:47she proves me wrong.
15:47It was great. It was a party.
15:49Absolutely love it. It's absolutely spectacular.
15:51The music video is out of control. I can't wait for the VMA that she's going to win for it.
15:55Do you have a favorite song yet? Honestly, I think The Fate of Ophelia.
16:00Probably Eldest Daughter.
16:01I really love Canceled.
16:03Honey, Wishlist. I don't know. One of those.
16:06Opalite.
16:07Opalite's my favorite. I put that at my top.
16:09Oh my goodness.
16:13A lot of excitement there.
16:13It's just Swifty with Swifties, right?
16:15So just to be clear, so there's an album that came out, but then there's also a movie?
16:21Yeah, the movie, it's just this weekend, and it's a movie about the release of the album and Taylor Swift.
16:27You get to see the actual video for the first time if you see the movie, Fate of Ophelia,
16:32which is a title track that everyone, some of those people thought was the best song.
16:36And you're also getting a little bit of an explanation from Taylor in the movie.
16:41I haven't seen the movie yet.
16:42I love how confused Charlie is.
16:43So instead of watching MTV, you have to go to a movie theater to watch the music video.
16:49Yeah, eventually you'll see it.
16:51But when I was out there talking to the Swifties, Charlie, they gave me a friendship bracelet.
16:56I got Eldest Daughter.
16:57Oh, wow.
16:58Your daughters are going to love that.
17:00Oh, here's your friendship bracelet.
17:02Charlie, this is, and also I think purple is your color.
17:05That's going to look so pretty on you.
17:07This is what all the Swifties wear, friendship bracelets.
17:09Although I love how Griff keeps the red and then gives you the purple.
17:12Yeah, yeah.
17:13Well, father figure, it's appropriate for you, and it's a little bit of a throwback to George
17:17Michael.
17:17I'm just, I'm not going to lie.
17:18I don't want to lie to anyone.
17:19Oh, yeah, they want to show that pretty bracelet off, Charlie.
17:23Give it to the audience.
17:24What is the point of a friendship bracelet?
17:27What is, like, you give it.
17:29Look at that.
17:30Yeah, look at that.
17:31There we go.
17:32Look at that.
17:33Oh, it's part of the excitement.
17:35Is it the culture of being a Swiftie?
17:37You shoot at it, people?
17:38No, you wear it.
17:40That makes you an official Swiftie.
17:41I get workers' comp if I get injured.
17:43But is it, do you, what does it mean?
17:45I mean, it's like.
17:46You're best friends now.
17:47This is a friendship.
17:48You're friends.
17:49You're now part of the Swiftie nation.
17:51Now you're a Swiftie, and now you guys are the best of friends forever and ever and ever.
17:56You like Taylor Swift.
17:57Yeah, I like Taylor Swift's music.
17:58Like, you know, I'm just, I'm like the kind of person where I don't love anything enough
18:02to, like, stay up and listen to an album or, you know, I will listen to it eventually.
18:07I actually really like her music, and I kind of used to hate on her relationship with Travis.
18:11But then I watched the podcast, his podcast with them together, and I was like, okay,
18:15I think they actually really do love each other.
18:17And now, obviously, they're engaged.
18:18And even if I don't like someone's politics, I still want them to be happy.
18:20You've been converted.
18:21All right, we got a lot more.
18:22Stay tuned for Swiftie News throughout the next four hours.
18:26That could be coming in.
18:27We don't want our viewership to drop, though.
18:30Meanwhile, a hard turn to this.
18:32Violence in the streets.
18:33Anti-ice protesters in Chicago lashing out at federal agents while Portland rioters burn
18:38American flags for nearly 100 consecutive nights.
18:42Wow.
18:42Plus, we break down what Diddy's future looks like as he faces a four-year prison sentence.
18:47Stay with us.
18:48Get him, get him.
18:49Yeah.
18:50Protests from coast to coast as federal agents make arrests at anti-ice rallies in Portland
19:14and Chicago this week.
19:15Former acting DHS Deputy Secretary and Senior Fellow for Immigration and Homeland Security
19:21at the Center for Renewing America, Ken Cuccinelli joins us now.
19:24Ken, great to see you on this Saturday.
19:26Appreciate you joining the show.
19:28You look at some of that footage, sir.
19:30It's writing.
19:32Maybe an insurrection.
19:34At what point does President Trump invoke the Insurrection Act, or should he?
19:40Well, he certainly has that ability.
19:42And just so our viewers know, you don't need just an insurrection against the United States.
19:48There are other lesser reasons the President can use the Insurrection Act to use active-duty military troops
19:56to support the activities of ICE to help protect ICE officers and so forth.
20:03So the President has that authority, and he's used it in other parts of the country.
20:08We saw, for example, Los Angeles.
20:11And that's really the President's call in situation by situation.
20:16He has the legal flexibility to do that.
20:19He has this term demonstrated a willingness to use that authority.
20:23That was viewed as a line that shouldn't be crossed in the last administration.
20:29And he, as he said in his campaign, has cast that restriction aside.
20:34And frankly, it worked in Los Angeles.
20:37I think it'll work in Portland.
20:40And Portland's a very interesting test because they pretty much have violent protests going on all the time,
20:48no matter who's in charge, no matter what they're doing.
20:50It's sort of Antifa headquarters out there.
20:53Obviously, Chicago has a need right now.
20:56And the President, I fully expect, if this continues, will use exactly that authority.
21:02You know, there's been an effort to figure out how coordinated, how well-funded these riots are, if you'll call them.
21:10Who do you think's behind it?
21:11And what do you think we'll learn in some of those investigations?
21:15Again, Lisa, another difference from the first term.
21:18This effort wasn't attempted.
21:21I had asked DOJ to do this.
21:23They wouldn't do it.
21:25I think it's a little dangerous to speculate about individuals.
21:29Certainly, there'll be Antifa connections.
21:32Antifa is intentionally a very horizontal arrangement.
21:36It's really, you know, it's not like you have an Antifa card when you're a member.
21:42And they do everything they can to keep themselves anonymous.
21:47They wear masks while complaining, of course, about ICE wearing masks so that they can protect themselves and their families.
21:54But so that's going to be a one at a time effort.
21:57But I think it will it will unveil large numbers of people participating in networks that are supported by sources of money.
22:09And I think it's going to be very interesting to learn who those folks are.
22:13And by the way, just the announcement they're going to do it will turn down the amount of money that's flowing in.
22:20Exactly.
22:20And Ken, to your point before we go, President Trump doing a lot different this time around, you know, designating cartels, foreign terrorist organizations.
22:27Also, Antifa as a terrorist organization.
22:31Ken Cuccinelli, we appreciate your knowledge and your insight this morning.
22:34Take care, sir.
22:35Good to be with you.
22:36Thanks.
22:37It's one of the most talked about trials.
22:39Did he sentence to four years in prison?
22:41We'll talk about it next.
22:47Sentenced to four years and two months in a federal prison for his crimes.
22:51Let's bring in Fox News contributor and criminal defense attorney Donna Rotuno and former inmate and prison consultant Larry Levine.
22:58Good morning.
22:58Thank you for being here.
22:59Donna, I want to go right to you because yesterday on Outnumbered, you literally predicted this would be the sentence.
23:05Here it is.
23:06Your reaction.
23:10Absolutely.
23:11This is the sentence.
23:12He got 50 months.
23:13I had said I think 48 to 72 was my prediction.
23:17I think this was spot on in terms of a deterrent.
23:20He wasn't getting the minimum.
23:21A lot of times defendants that don't have criminal background look at closer to minimum sentences.
23:27However, given aspects of this case, given the video that we saw, given the statements by Cassie Ventura, given all of the culmination of facts here,
23:37I did not anticipate that the judge would give him the minimum sentence that the defense was asking for.
23:42I did think he would go sort of lower than the high number 11 that the prosecutors were asking for.
23:49But this is pretty much on par with what I expected to happen.
23:53Now, Larry, Diddy's already done a year served.
23:57So we're really looking at about three years.
23:59Do you anticipate he will spend all three years in jail?
24:03Now, I did some calculations using the BOP policies and programs.
24:09He should be out by about November 5th of, what, 2027.
24:16He's not eligible for the First Step Act or the RDAP, the drug program, which gets you out early because he has public safety factors,
24:25factors because he's a sex offender of sorts.
24:29So, I mean, he's got a rough ride coming, but it's he's not going to a minimum security camp at all.
24:36He's going to go to a low level FCI.
24:38I mean, a question is, is he from L.A. or is he from Miami?
24:45What's his home of record?
24:47If they determine he's from L.A., he'll probably go to Terminal Island or Lompoc.
24:53If they determine he's from Florida, maybe Miami, maybe Coleman, maybe Mariana, maybe Tallahassee.
25:00But he's going behind the fence.
25:03And the best advice I could give him, and I wrote a book called Prison Politics 101, which I sent in to him.
25:11It's on Amazon.
25:13That he needs to keep his mouth shut.
25:16There's a lot of people in there who are doing a lot more time than he is that's not going to want to hear him cry or whine.
25:24They're not going to care who he is.
25:27So he needs to really humble himself.
25:29You know what I mean?
25:31Well, we'll see, Larry.
25:32And there's no indication that he will do that.
25:34Donna, I just want to ask you.
25:35Lastly, I thought it was interesting that the judge said yesterday.
25:43Department of Justice opens criminal investigation into new NYAG Latita James.
25:49James's attorney, Abelero, called the accusations against his clientele baseless and long discredited.
25:56The Department of Justice has opened a criminal investigation into New York Attorney General Latita James.
26:03Fox News has learned.
26:05A source familiar with the matter confirmed that a grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia sent out subpoenas related to accusations that James misrepresented a single family home in Virginia as a primary residence to obtain more favourable loan terms.
26:25News of the federal probe follows a criminal investigation into a criminal investigation into a criminal investigation.
26:55federal housing finance agency, Director William Pulte, who requested the DOJ investigate James over that matter,
27:04had another incident in which he allegedly misrepresented the number of liveable units in a multifamily Brooklyn house to once again obtain better loan terms.
27:14These baseless and long discredited allegations put to rest by my April 24th.
27:21My April 24th.
27:25Is that my as in my or my is it meant to be?
27:29Okay.
27:30I'm going to change that to the, I think.
27:34Yeah, yeah.
27:35By the April 24th.
27:37We start from these baseless.
27:39These baseless and long discredited allegations put to rest by the April 24th letter to the Department of Justice are suddenly back in the news just days after President Trump publicly attacked Attorney General James.
27:55James's attorney, Abby Lauer said Thursday.
28:00This appears to be the political retribution President Trump threatened to extract that AG Bondi assured the Senate would not occur on her watch.
28:09If prosecutors are genuinely interested in the truth, we are prepared to meet false claims with facts.
28:16After Pulte's criminal referral was sent to the Justice Department, specifically US Attorney General Pam Bondi, Lauer followed up with his own letter to Bondi and the Justice Department accusing the President of seeking political retribution.
28:31James has been part of a group of Democratic Attorney General who have sued to halt many of Trump's orders during his first few months in the Oval Office.
28:44Thank you, mate. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
28:56Additionally, James was the lead prosecutor in a case she brought up against Trump and Trump Organization that alleged the President, while he was a candidate, falsified business records to obtain more favourable loan terms.
29:24He was ultimately ordered by a judge to pay hundreds of millions by still appealing the ruling.
29:31The stunning hypocrisy of President Trump's complaint that the Justice Department had been politicised and weaponised against him is laid bare as he and others in his administration are now asking you to undertake the very same practice Lauer wrote to in his letter to Bondi.
29:49Lauer in his letter pointed to instances where Trump has called for revenge and instances when the President has personally attacked James.
30:01Lauer also responded to allegations including the claim James listed a home in Virginia as her primary residence while serving as a state official in New York.
30:11According to Lauer, James had no intention of using the property as a primary residence and her indication of this in a power of attorney letter was a mistake.
30:23Lauer pointed out there were other documents in which James indicated to her lender that the Virginia home would not be her primary residence.
30:33James is also accused of fraud for allegedly inflating the number of liveable units in a multifamily Brooklyn home to receive better interest rates.
30:43Lauer accuses Porter of disregarding updated documentation listing the residence as a four unit multifamily residence and instead pointing to a certificate of occupancy from 2001.
