00:00Welcome everyone. So today we are going to understand how to find the value of x for this particular question.

00:05See whenever you have variables involved, your first job is to shift all the variables on the other side.

00:11And all the numbers on the other side. So now you had a minus x over here.

00:15So when you shift it on the other side, it will become 2x plus x.

00:20Okay, and negative 2 when you shift it on the other side, we have 4 plus 2.

00:24So we have 3x equals to 6. Dividing both sides by 3, you get the value of x as 2.

00:38And you want to cross verify, let's just cross verify your LHS.

00:43We have 2 into x which is 2 minus 2. That gets you 2.

00:50And your RHS is 4 minus x which is 2. So answer is 2.
