00:00Welcome everyone. So yes, a lot of people thought that the answer for this one is supposed to be 1
00:04because this and this gets cancelled. This and this also gets cancelled.
00:08So answer is supposed to be 1 divided by 1 whose answer is 1.
00:12Right? But no, that is not how these things work.
00:14Especially when there is a fraction involved, you need to do the numerator and the denominator separately.
00:20So first we will do 12 divided by 4 which is 3 is your numerator
00:25upon 4 divided by 12 that is 1 upon 3.
00:29So basically your question is basically 3 divided by 1 upon 3.
00:34Now when you have something like this, you need to follow the rules of KCF to do the division.
00:40Now what does that mean? K stands for keeping the first number as it is.
00:45C stands for changing the division sign to multiplication.
00:49F stands for flipping or taking reciprocal of 1 upon 3 which is just 3.
00:54So answer for this question is supposed to be 9.
00:57I hope this is very very clear to everyone.
01:01That's it for today. I will see you in the next video.
