00:00Welcome everyone. So yes, a lot of people thought that the answer for this one is supposed to be 20
00:04because this is cancelling. 1 by 4 multiplied by 4 gets cancelled.
00:09So you are left with just 20 divided by 1. The answer for that is 20.
00:13No, that is not how these things work.
00:15The important thing to realize always is that division and multiplication hold equal precedence.
00:21So in sums like these, you just have to go from left to right.
00:25Whatever operation happens first on your left hand side has to be done first.
00:28So first we will do 20 divided by 1 by 4.
00:31Now since there is a fraction involved, while division we will keep following the rule of KCF
00:36where KA stands for keeping the first number as it is.
00:39C stands for changing the division sign to multiplication.
00:43F stands for flipping or taking reciprocal of 1 upon 4 which is 4 multiplied by 4.
00:48So this gets you 80 multiplied by 4.
00:52The answer for this question is supposed to be 320.
00:55I hope this is very very clear to everyone.
00:59That's it for today.
01:00I will see you in the next video.
