00:00Sabah UMNO Information Chief Suhaimi Nasir said,
00:04Pakatan Harapan must make clear whether it will side with Barisan Nasional or Gabungan Rakyat Sabah
00:09if both coalitions vie for the same seat in the impending state elections.
00:15He said PH needed to be transparent as it was allied with both BN and GRS who are rivals,
00:21and PH's stance must be clear to avoid becoming a thorn in the side, Utusan Malaysia reported.
00:27He said Sabah UMNO must be cautious due to past betrayals by allies,
00:32which he claimed led to the party winning 20 seats with slim majorities caused by sabotage.
00:39Suhaimi pointed to Gamgam, Telupit and Banggi,
00:42where independent candidates aligned with Perikatan Nasional were fielded,
00:46despite BN being in alliance with PN at the time.
00:49He questioned how Sabah UMNO could work with GRS again,
00:53saying they had been bitten once and did not want to be bitten again.
00:58Sabah Chief Minister and GRS Chairman Hajiji Noor recently said
01:01the coalition would continue cooperating with PH in the coming state polls.
01:07PH and BN remain allies at the federal level, with BN in the opposition in Sabah.
01:13Last month, GRS said it would defend the 42 seats it had won,
01:17with the current Sabah Assembly's term expiring on November 11th and less dissolved earlier,
01:22triggering an election within 60 days.
