00:07on decisions regarding electoral pacts for the coming state election.

00:12Sabah Amno information chief Suhaimi Nasir said the state chapters of the party and Barca

00:17Nacional had the autonomy to decide who to work with.

00:21Suhaimi said Sabah Amno and the central leadership had recently discussed potential alliances

00:26for the state polls, but added that the central leadership took an advisory role in terms

00:31of issues related to Sabah Amno.

00:33He was commenting on calls for the BN-Pakatan Harapan Alliance, which forms the unity government,

00:38to be emulated in Sabah.

00:40He said the central leadership had told Sabah Amno that the BN-PH collaboration was key to

00:45winning.

00:46Last night, Suhaimi said Sabah Amno had proposed a memorandum of understanding between BN and

00:51PH, as well as any political party interested in working together ahead of the state election.

00:56He said such an arrangement was crucial to prevent a repeat of party-hopping and double-crossing,

01:01which could destabilize the future state government, Farid Taharian reported.
