00:00Definitely looking at film before games, preparing for teams.
00:02I've seen looks that I have never seen in college before.
00:05So, I mean, I took it for myself even when I didn't get in the last two games.
00:10Making sure I'm taking a bunch of notes, making sure I'm prepared for these opportunities
00:13if my name is called like I did yesterday.
00:15So, you know, you're going to face a lot of looks and we're going to continue getting a lot more looks.
00:20So, it's important for me to, you know, when my name is called again,
00:24I'm going in games and preparing for these teams that I'm taking what I learned in the film and went to the field.
00:28So, if you do this long enough, there will be days like that that go sideways.
00:33How difficult was it to sit down with your fellow O-line mates and watch the tape today?
00:38It was a hard pill to swallow for everybody.
00:39I know the guys, they've been into this position before just because they're vets
00:45and they've been in the league a lot.
00:46So, it's not their first rodeo.
00:47But for me, you know, 48 to 10 is, you know, not what you want to be in,
00:52but it's how you bounce back from it.
00:54So, it's important for us to look past that, learn from it, and go towards Denver next week.
00:59What's step one in running better, getting the running game going better?
01:02We're just watching film and seeing what we can learn from, you know, little technique stuff.
01:06You know, I feel like if we just execute things better, then we'll be in a good shape.
01:11When people say you need to be more physical as a unit, as a group, what does that mean to you?
01:17I mean, we should take it as an insult, as an offensive lineman.
01:20As an offensive lineman, we want to be the most physical beings on the team.
01:22So, that's just a room for us to get better and be more physical like everybody wants us to.
01:27But, we got to learn from it and just move forward and be more physical like everybody thinks.
01:34And what we think, too, watching the film.
01:36I know you're still trying to put this one to bed.
01:38Have you peaked ahead to Denver at all?
01:40That's a defense that hit Justin Herbert 14 times yesterday.
01:43Well, first, we just learned from our film yesterday, and that was the biggest thing before we even move on to Denver.
01:48But, now, we're moving forward to Denver, and we're going to watch film coming up very soon.
01:52So, most importantly, it was just what can we learn from so we can move on to Denver and execute things better to beat Denver.
02:00Seems like every NFL game I watch, the quarterback is under duress.
02:04I know you haven't done this a lot yet, but how hard is it in this era to pass block in the NFL?
02:10I mean, it's very hard.
02:11Like I said, you're going against elite wrestlers.
02:13I mean, not everything is going to be super clean, and you're not going to have the cleanest pocket.
02:17But, you're going against a lot of teams that are bringing different looks at us.
02:22There's a bunch of twists, games, blitz.
02:23So, it's a matter of us to learn from it and pick it up better.
