00:00Better effort by the defense as a whole today?

00:02I mean, yeah, for sure.

00:04Definitely, I mean, everyone can say the tackling.

00:05That's definitely a thing we can work on.

00:07We've been saying we can work on.

00:09But at the end of the day, I feel like we held it down in the red zone today

00:12when we had the opportunities down there, kept in the field goals.

00:15So I think we did a better job today doing that.

00:17Do you think the chunk plays were really what hurt you overall at certain points?

00:21Yeah, and it comes down to, you know, certain situations of, you know,

00:25people are out of the spot, and that's what it came down to.

00:28But I think overall, I mean, I feel like we played better.

00:31I would say that we played better.

00:32I mean, definitely it's got to work on tackling still, myself included,

00:34but we definitely played better.

00:36Can you describe trying to tackle Washington?

00:38I mean, a 300-pound tight end that gets ahead of steam.

00:41With that stiff arm, it seems like a difficult task.

00:43Yeah, no, I mean, my first one I tried to just get him out of bounds.

00:46I thought I was going to get him out of bounds until he was on the tracks.

00:49The next one, I mean, I got knocked the stiff arm down and got him down.

00:51I mean, it's really, at the end of the day, it's got to get him down.

00:53But the first one, I think I just got to do better.

00:55That's all it is.

00:55It feels like on third and long, they threw short a lot,

00:59counting on yards after the catch, and unfortunately it worked too many times.

01:03Yeah, I mean, in the second half, we made an adjustment after the first half,

01:07but we had limited opportunities the second half, so really didn't get to do that.

01:11And then the one we did, it wasn't the same call we were in before,

01:15so at the end of the day, we just got to execute the call,

01:18and everyone got to rally to the ball.

01:20You scored 20 points on offense.

01:22What were the positives, from your view, for the defense?

01:26I feel like we stopped the run better.

01:28It wasn't many big run plays.

01:31They had a few, I'll say that, but it wasn't like nothing like the last two weeks,

01:35I'll say that for sure.

01:36I think we took a positive step, and I feel like we just got to get better.

01:40We still got a lot more games left, and there's no quit on this team,

01:43so I know we're going to be better right now.

01:45Do you think the key drive was the first drive for the second half?

01:49Rudolph was out there instead of Rodgers, and you don't get him off the field?

01:53Yeah, definitely.

01:54I just feel like we adjusted after the first drive of the whole game.

01:59I feel like we adjusted after that, but we know when Mason came in,

02:04it was going to be a different type of style.

02:06They were going to limit it a little more with him in there

02:09and try not to put too much on his plate.

02:11But I feel like we said, we only had limited action in the second half,

02:15so at the end of the day, when we get down there at the end too,

02:19we got to stop him, so we can't let him score.
