00:04Yeah, I thought he played well in the game.

00:07There's a couple that he wants back.

00:08Obviously, there's a third down quick beat that has been a focus for

00:11us that we can't have.

00:13And there are a few other things that got a little leaky towards the end of the down.

00:16But Lucas plays with great urgency, he plays with great technique,

00:21he plays with great awareness.

00:23He's a leader, he's a pro, he's a competitor.

00:27And he's practiced really well for us.

00:29And I thought, minus a couple plays the other night, I thought he played well.

00:33How do you view swing tackle right now?

00:35Swing tackle?

00:36Yeah, so we're in the process of sorting through some of that.

00:38I know Zach commented on that yesterday.

00:40And I know you've seen Cody out there, we moved Jalen in.

00:44That's really something that we had visions of doing earlier in camp.

00:47And we weren't able to, just given some injury constraints at the time.

00:52So we're still very much in the discovery process of what that room is going to end

00:56up looking like.

00:58Obviously, Cody filled that role for us last year and did a good job.

01:02We were able to win a lot of football games and score a lot of points with Cody playing

01:05out there.

01:07So he has value in that role.

01:08Is that ultimately going to end up his role?

01:10We have not decided that yet.

01:12You know, we've worked Jalen there, Jalen played there in college.

01:15So we're going to mix and match and use every ounce of the last, whatever it is, seven competitive

01:21practices in two games to make that decision.

01:23How early returns on Dylan Fairchild?

01:25How do you think he did in the game the other night and just throughout camp?

01:27Dylan played really well in the game.

01:29Um, I was, I was pleased, you know, he played physical, he was aggressive.

01:33He and OB had a good twist pass, uh, on the, on the left side on a third down.

01:38I think it was, um, he was assignment sound and technically sound and, and, um, he played

01:45well, you know, but that it's a 15 play sample.

01:47You know what I mean?

01:48Like that's obviously it was for the world to see.

01:50So you want your 15 plays to be good.

01:52And then they were, um, but every day has got to be that, you know?

01:55And so he's, he's still growing, going through that process of how to, how do I play to our

02:00standard all the time?

02:02And, um, he's going to get there.

02:04We know we will.

02:05And he's got the right people around him to help.
