00:00Billy, do a lot of people DM you on Facebook and ask you to plan stuff?
00:08Yeah.
00:09Well, during the pandemic, it worked out well because people just from all over the world
00:12were writing to me to play bass.
00:14We ended up doing about 600 tracks.
00:17Wow.
00:18Based on 600.
00:19And the entire map of genre and style from absolute beginners with a little drum machine
00:26to pro major guys and stuff like that.
00:30So Facebook has brought this band about, so it's been a blessing in many ways.
00:39Very cool.
00:41Yeah.
00:41Now, I was thinking about this on the way into work today, growing up in Buffalo myself.
00:44What would the young kid that was playing in Talos think of the career that you've had?
00:49Well, I never really thought about, you know, some kind of a mess, huge.
00:58I mean, I wanted to be successful in some capacity, but I almost more wanted to be a player.
01:04I wanted to, you know, satisfy myself and say, you know, do things that I set out to accomplish
01:11as a player.
01:12And then the rest kind of came along, dragging along behind it as far as success goes.
01:18And I think that's a good thing to do because I really wasn't looking for money or fame at
01:25all, but I just wanted to be a, you know, be the best player I could be.
01:30And I think that's why eventually there was some success.
01:33Because I think if you concentrate just on success and money and fame, I don't think you
01:38go anywhere.
01:38You know, you really got to concentrate on the product you're doing, on the thing you're
01:42doing, and be the best you can be at it.
01:48You know, I think that's fantastic.
