00:07Legitimate self-confidence is not mistaken for incorrect self-assessment.

00:17Genuine self-confidence arises from knowing the inflexible action of the laws that govern creation.

00:25It stems from the soul's harmonization to these laws, driving us to follow the path toward

00:33spiritual development and giving us the strength to face all obstacles and challenges courageously.

00:42Incorrect self-assessment, however, arises exclusively from the considerations of the

00:49pondering intellect without any spiritual influence.

00:53It gives rise to the illusion of always being right about everything, a kind of wanting

01:01to know everything better, that does not accept opposite views and that obliterates a clear

01:08vision of reality, thus preventing the recognition of our limitations, flaws and inclinations.

01:17The assumption of not being who you are derives exclusively from mental exercises, from an

01:26exacerbated fantasy, without any collaboration of the spiritual intuition.

01:32The intellect, when not well-mastered, is very proficient at embellishing the ways of the human

01:40creature with the most insane configurations of fantasy.

01:46Beautiful, colorful and attractive configurations, always false ones, which are far from reality

01:54and only fortified vanity and only fortified the vanity of their generator.

02:00Legitimate self-confidence goes hand in hand with humility, whereas incorrect self-assessment

02:08only strengthens vanity.

02:11The former takes us closer to the creator.

02:16The latter pulls us away from him more and more.
