00:11Victor Hovland also finished time for fifth play with Rasmus Hoygaard
00:15earlier in the week. And Matt Fitzpatrick who played with Ludwig Oberg.
00:18Uh, what do you got for us on, on those, those three guys, Smiley, uh,
00:22Hatton, uh, you said Hatton Hovland in here. It was a, uh,
00:26Matt Fitzpatrick all the time for fifth at 15 under based on what, you know,
00:31I caught the very end of the DP world, uh, tour broadcast and just kind of
00:34listening to some of the notes of these, at least the guys up top. Uh,
00:38well, Victor at one point definitely had the lead of the golf tournament.
00:41It felt like Victor actually was going to sneak,
00:43sneak his way to the top of this leaderboard. Uh,
00:45didn't necessarily get go super deep on the weekend,
00:49but I had a good first Thursday and Friday around, uh, Hatton, uh,
00:52putter went a little cold is what they said. And Fitzpatrick, uh, led the,
00:56led the field in birdies, but just had too many, uh, too many bogeys.
00:59So Fitzpatrick's been a guy,
01:02I think it's just been trending in the right direction. Um,
01:04similar to, uh, Cameron Young, you know,
01:07I think two players that I think have played their way into form that might get
01:11to play more than, uh, let's say three matches.
01:13I could see Fitzy playing his way maybe into another,
01:16if he's able to maybe go win a match,
01:18but his Ryder cup records has not been great. Uh,
01:22but Tio Hatton has been, you know,
01:23just solid as a rock for the most part, uh, over the last five years.
01:27I expect so much out of Tio, this, uh, Ryder cup, but, um,
01:32Victor's I think driver is my biggest question mark driver and putter.
01:36Really? Uh, Victor's going to hit it enough, really good iron shots,
01:40but if he's paired with a good putter who watch out, um,
01:44especially in that force and stuff. But, uh,
01:46I worry about Victor's putter and, and, um,
01:48and closing out some matches coming up, uh,
01:51the next kind of moving down the board a little bit for, uh, to, uh,
01:5413 under tied for 13th, John Rom,
01:57who was paired with Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry to open up the week.
02:01Uh, thoughts on, on Rom I played this week.
02:04Uh, dude, he just,
02:05what's his deal with just like backdooring good finishes,
02:07like in, in anything other than a live event, like majors, DP world tour.
02:12It just seems like he's not near the top of the leaderboard as much on like
02:16Thursday, Friday. And then he just has like a,
02:18it's like the Xander Schauffele formula that he had for years,
02:21which is like, Oh wait, Xander finished in the top 10.
02:24What? Oh, he shot six under today.
02:26He was 71, 69, 69, 66 to your point.
02:29Yeah. I'm not saying he does that every week, but, um, yeah,
02:34obviously a good Sunday. Same for Rory McIlroy eagled the last hole again.
02:38So look out for Rory making big putts on 18.
02:41He's kind of addicted to doing that in September right now.
02:43So that's, that could be something I know Luke Donald would love to see is
02:47making putts on that, uh, that 18th old Beth page, which is a crazy, uh,
02:51crazy difficult green. Really? Um, we've big solid, uh, first Thursday,
02:55Friday, but, uh, kind of tailed off on the weekend a little bit, but I,
