00:00Well, take us through the week. So heading into the Aussie Open, I think a lot of people have been excited about this event being held at Royal Melbourne, one of the most famous golf courses in the world.
00:10I think a lot of American viewers are used, or I guess their latest memories of Royal Melbourne was when they had the President's Cup when Tiger Woods was the playing captain there.
00:20But before that, I mean, it's not something that we get to see on TV very often.
00:25What were your expectations of Royal Melbourne? And have you played much golf on the sand belt before this year?
00:33No, so I played the Australian Open last year. That was my first time to Australia, period.
00:39And we got a fair bit of rain there, and I think they were doing it as a mixed event.
00:45So they were going to keep it slightly softer than they would just because of the women in it.
00:49And we got rain as well. But I knew this year, I've kind of circled it on my calendar all year, like just as that little, you know,
00:58obviously the DP World Tour season ended a couple of weeks ago.
01:01So now it's the brand new season starting up.
01:03But I've been looking forward to the event as soon as I saw it was at Royal Melbourne, because obviously I know the history there.
01:11It's like I've watched, again, President's Cup and tournaments being played there and just wanted to get in on the action.
01:19But I think going into the week, I was expecting it to be really firm, really fast, and just kind of one of those spots where you can get yourself in trouble pretty quickly.
01:33And yeah, well, it certainly lived up to that. It was an incredible week, not only obviously because of the result, but also just as a whole, like the fans, the amount of fans.
01:48I think they broke, someone told me yesterday, I think they had 113,000 spectators out there throughout the week with 30,000 over both Saturday and Sunday.
01:58So it was absolutely wild.
