00:03The studio and the pit won big, history was made,
00:07we celebrated iconic TV anniversaries, and so much more.
00:11Here's everything that went down at the 77th Emmy Awards.
00:15Stars of some of this year's biggest shows graced the red carpet at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles,
00:20ready for the big night, which was hosted by Nate Bargetsy.
00:23The host kicked off the festivities with a hilarious skit with Bowen Yang,
00:27Mikey Day, and James Austin Johnson giving a new spin to his beloved Saturday Night Live sketch,
00:33this time playing the inventor of television.
00:36Will there be a network for white people, sir?
00:40Why, CBS, of course.
00:43As the first presenter of the night, Stephen Colbert didn't waste time acknowledging CBS's controversial ending of The Late Show next year.
00:51While I have your attention, is anyone hiring?
00:53Colbert then handed out the first award of the night to Seth Rogen for lead actor in a comedy series for the studio.
01:01Rogen also took home the award for Best Directing, Best Writing, and Best Comedy later in the night.
01:07I feel like I should, I don't know, I don't know what to say, this is so nice, thank you, I appreciate you all.
01:12After getting the laughs started with his SNL sketch,
01:15Bargetsy officially welcomed the crowd to the annual telecast and was quick to take his hosting duty seriously
01:21by pledging a $100,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of America,
01:26but noting that any winner that exceeds the allotted 45-second speech time will have a consequence.
01:31Some of you go over a little, some go under, do the right thing.
01:35Standout presenters of the night included everyone's favorite Emmy darling Jennifer Coolidge presenting Best Actor in a Comedy.
01:43We were all supposed to go on a trip to Ibiza and I found out that I wasn't included
01:51and the only reason I knew that was because Elizabeth DeBecky and I have the same Ozempic dealer.
01:58Two studio stars, Ike Barinholtz and Katherine Hahn, who jokingly slammed TV writers and attempted to present Sans Teleprompter.

02:13Other early wins of the night included Hannah Einbinder for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy for Hacks,
02:18Tramiel Tillman for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama for Severance,
02:22and Katherine Lanasa for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for The Pit in a White Lotus Stacked category.
02:29Elsewhere on the telecast, Reba McIntyre and Little Big Town performed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Golden Girls.
02:40Owen Cooper made history at the Emmys, winning Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series at age 15,
02:47making him the youngest male actor to win an Emmy.
02:50If you listen and you focus and you step out your comfort zone, you can achieve anything in life.
02:56The night also featured plenty of political chatter, most notably from Hannah Einbinder's and Stephen Colbert's winner's speeches.
03:02You only truly know how much you love something when you get a sense that you might be losing it.
03:07Vince Gill and Lainey Wilson gave a moving tribute during the In Memoriam.
03:12Stephen Graham won for Lead Actor in a Limited Series for Adolescence,
03:15and Kristen Milioti for Lead Actress in a Limited Series for The Penguin.

03:23Noah Wiley won Lead Actor in a Drama Series for The Pit,
03:26and Jean Smart and Britt Lauer took home the award for Best Actress in a Comedy and Drama Series, respectively.
03:33And finally, The Studio, The Pit, and Adolescence took home the awards for Best Comedy, Drama, and Limited Series, respectively.
