00:00 Beef has had a huge past couple weekends at the Golden Globes, the Critics Choice Awards,
00:04 now you're at the Emmys.
00:05 What has it been like for you?
00:06 It's been a surreal wave that doesn't seem to have an end at the moment, but I'm just
00:14 trying to keep surfing.
00:16 It was also just announced that you're going to be on season two of The Last of Us.
00:20 Congratulations.
00:21 How excited are you to take on that role?
00:25 I'm so glad to be employed again and to have another job lined up after that long strike.
00:29 I'm so thankful to Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann for their vision and allowing me to join a
00:35 wonderfully crafted world.
00:37 I've been a fan of the game, I'm a fan of their work, I'm a huge fan of the show, so
00:44 this seems like a really miraculous next project to work on after Beef.
00:49 I think that was my issue.
00:51 After Beef I was like, "What possibly could I work on next?"
00:54 But I think I found a good comp.
00:57 Have you gotten a chance to meet Pedro and Bella yet at any of these award ceremonies?
01:01 No, we've been in proximity, but it's madness at these award shows.
01:06 I'm sure I'll see them around soon.
01:09 Do you know when you start filming?
01:11 It's sometime this spring, right?
01:13 It's ramping up pretty quickly.
01:15 I'm heading out to Vancouver in a few weeks, and then I think February is when we start
01:20 shooting.
01:21 Amazing.
01:22 And with Beef, many people are hopeful that there might be some sort of season two with
01:26 a new cast, it might become an anthology series.
01:28 What are your thoughts on that, and what have you possibly heard?
01:30 As far as I'm concerned, it is an anthology, so they will probably have a new cast.
01:37 But I think the characters are still out there in that universe, and they may return in later
01:42 seasons.
01:43 But I personally love the way season one ended.
01:47 I think that was one of the greatest ending scenes of all time, that finale episode.
01:52 I trust Sonny wholeheartedly, regardless of whether he wants to do four more seasons or
01:58 different casts.
01:59 He's a genius, so I trust him.
