00:00Colin, what I think is so interesting is the gap that we're seeing between the teams that have an ownership group that own a team already in the city compared to the independent owners out there.
00:10Yeah, only two independent out of the five independent teams made the WNBA playoffs this year, that being the Atlanta Dream, who are going to be one of the best team, probably second or third.
00:20And the Seattle Storm, who are likely going to be, you know, seventh or one of the bottom teams.
00:25And then the other three are the three worst teams in the league, the Connecticut Sun, the Dallas Wings and the Chicago Sky.
00:32And not only that, all three of them won 75 percent or less of their games this year.
00:38Meanwhile, all eight teams that made the playoffs are above 500.
00:44That's the first time that that's happened since 2011, when one of the teams that Tulsa Shock went three and 31.
00:51So you can see that there is a wide gap. And I think the Athletic even had a report, an anonymous player poll, I think about a couple of months ago,
00:59that said that the Wings, the Sun and the Sky were three of the worst run organizations in the league.
01:06So there's been a lot of conversations in the WNBA about, you know, player treatment and it's seeing itself in the standings, I think.
01:13So there's been a lot of conversations in the league.
