JP and BMitch react to the Commanders game plan from last night.
Transcript
00:00I have a lot of notes from last night.
00:03Richard Sherman, just before halftime, tweeted out,
00:06why is Washington putting Noah Brown backside,
00:08giving him one-on-ones instead of scary Terry?
00:11We heard this a lot last year that they didn't move McLaurin around much.
00:16And last night I thought was perhaps the most egregious example of it.
00:20Like you kept seeing Brown get one-on-ones.
00:23And my argument now would be like you have Debo and Terry.
00:26And you don't want to get too caught up in one game.
00:32The results last year over the body of work really speak for themselves.
00:36But damn, I would have liked to see some stuff change at halftime of that game.
00:39And I just feel like we didn't.
00:41I think you get to a point where people were saying that they were looking over the Giants,
00:46but they put stuff in last week also for Green Bay.
00:53Short week.
00:53Maybe you just got so hell-bent on what you had drawn up
00:58that you didn't feel like you can just change, change, change up stuff.
01:04But last year we started with Terry being in one spot, not getting chances.
01:09Then all of a sudden when they started going to Terry, things picked up.
01:13And I expect the same thing this year.
01:15But I've watched a lot of people around the NFL, even in college.
01:22I drew this up.
01:24I schemed it.
01:25It's going to work.
01:27Until it doesn't.
01:28And then you feel like I got to change it.
