Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has apologised to the Indian community after NT senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price suggested last week that the government favoured Indian migrants because they vote Labour. Video via AAP

00:23take this opportunity as leader of the Liberal Party to apologise to all Indian Australians

00:29and indeed others who were hurt and distressed by the comments that were made. Comments that

00:36I said at the time should not have been made and may I reaffirm my strong support for all

00:42our migrant communities.
