00:00Let's check in with Rochelle for our weather forecast.

00:03Thanks, Deesha. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago. It's now time for your weather.

00:08The day started off hot, then we got some widely scattered showers.

00:12These showers led to street flooding in different parts of Portiswade,

00:16causing roads to become impassable and cause significant traffic delays.

00:21Now, here's what we're getting tonight.

00:23Conditions will be fair and hazy, but will become party cloudy at times

00:28from just around midnight, with isolated light, moderate showers

00:32and a low chance of thunderstorm activity.

00:35Minimum temperatures are 24 degrees in Trinidad and 26 in Tobago.

00:41And according to the Met Office, tomorrow will be party cloudy and hazy,

00:45but prepare for some intermittent isolated light, moderate showers

00:49during the morning and early afternoon.

00:52There's a medium chance some of these showers could become heavy and thundery,

00:56so make sure to walk with your umbrellas.

00:58A mild to moderate concentration of Saharan dust is likely to occur.

01:03Maximum temperatures are 32 degrees in both Trinidad and Tobago.

01:07And for our two-day forecast, Friday expects similar conditions

01:11as the trend continues into our weekend.

01:14That is, fair and hazy conditions that will become party cloudy at times,

01:18with some light to moderate showers.

01:20Afternoon thunderstorm activity can occur, favouring southern and western areas.

01:26And Saturday will be the same.

01:28Maximum temperatures are 33 degrees in Trinidad and 32 in Tobago for both Friday and Saturday.

01:35Now, with all the rain expected, if the beach is still on your go-to list,

01:39well, your seas are looking moderate with waves up to 2 metres in open waters

01:44and up to 1 metre in sheltered areas.

01:47Let's take a look at our sun times now.

01:49In Trinidad, sun rises at 5.55 and it will set at 6.08.

01:54In Tobago, however, sun rises at 5.52 and it will set at 6.06.
