00:00Everybody wants Jackson Dart. Jackson Dart, of course, he's never played in the NFL.
00:04I know Dable loves him. I know Gruden loves him.
00:07How quickly do you think, if at all, the Giants would pull the plug on Russell and go to Jackson Dart?
00:13What are you hearing?
00:14I thought it was interesting that Brian Dable, after the game, Craig said,
00:18this loss is not on Russell Wilson, and then he wouldn't really commit to him.
00:22It's no surprise that he goes to Russell week two.
00:24But I am interested to see if the offense sputters again, if and when,
00:31because it's only a matter of time, Jackson Dart becomes QB1.
00:35They really like him. He had a great spring, great summer.
00:39He's very talented, and I think he gives them the type of quarterback that they need.
00:44And I'm comfortable telling you, and this is no disrespect to Russell Wilson, who's a Hall of Famer,
00:49but Russell Wilson is no longer, in my opinion, a bona fide starting quarterback in this league.
00:53Jackson Dart, we don't know what he is, but he can't be worse than what we saw week one.
00:5917 to 37, 168 yards, no touchdowns.
01:03Now, to be fair, the offensive line was not very good,
01:06and Andrew Thomas coming back will make a huge impact, all pro left tackle.
01:10But Jackson Dart gives them the type of quarterback that, at least, in my opinion,
01:15gives you an opportunity to be competitive in games.
01:17And I think he's talented enough and has enough swag to infuse some life.
01:23And the guy to my left shoulder, Malik Nabors, that's the key.
01:27That's the key, because he's the most talented guy on that offense.
01:31And, you know, he had an inefficient game, 12 targets, five catches.
01:35I think, Dart, it's only a matter of time.
01:38And if you're Brian Dayball, if you're Joe Shane, you know,
01:40you realize that if you don't win this year, it doesn't matter anyway.
01:43So you might as well go to him at some point.
