01:55Introducing the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Grand Turismo.
02:23Wow, that's what I call a racing car, right?
02:52The Corsa GSE Vision Grand Turismo is a performance beast.
02:57With two electric motors, it delivers instant power and torque,
03:02launching from zero to 100 in just two seconds
03:05and on to a top speed of 300 kilometers per hour.
03:10So fast, you won't even have time to say OMG.
03:13And just as its engineering and performance pushes boundaries,
03:19so does its next level of design.
03:22For that, over to you, Mark.

03:26Yeah, so here it is, our vision of the future of GSE.
03:30And of course, much more.
03:32As mentioned earlier, we deliberately chose our favorite small car,
03:36the Corsa, as the basis of our inspiration,
03:40bringing small car agility with the max of everything.
03:45You've already heard about the fantastic potential performance of this concept.
03:50So now, let's talk about the exciting design.
03:54This concept not only represents our vision for GSE,
03:58but we also take a confident step forward
04:01with our bold and pure design language.
04:03So, let's go take a closer look.
04:06Of course, the very first thing you see
04:09is the very strong illuminated compass that we have
04:12with this center line lining up
04:14with our traditional center peak that we have in all of our cars.
04:19But this vehicle is about contrast.
04:22Much like our bold and pure language,
04:25this is about strong contrast.
04:27And for example, when you look at the white areas
04:30with this fluidity and sculpture,
04:32and yet still structured precision,
04:35combined with these very graphic technical areas
04:39in the yellow and black here in the lower areas.
04:42But these areas of contrast
04:45are there for a very deliberate reason.
04:49We're a German company, and we do things with purpose.
04:52So, if you look at those functional technical areas,
04:56they perform a very strong role.
04:58And let me just talk you through some of the key aerodynamics.
05:01For example, from down low,
05:03you can get the airflow of the car
05:06to really optimize over the top of the vehicle here,
05:09really giving fantastic optimal performance.
05:12And then using these very precise,
05:16pronounced fenders that are done in a sustainable material,
05:20these also guide the airflow down
05:23on this very dramatic body side here.
05:27And then talking of dramatic,
05:29the separation of that airflow
05:31is done with two dramatic elements here.
05:35With it, the roof spoiler
05:36and the venturi duct here
05:39really extend to give the ultimate aero drag performance.
05:44But, within the game,
05:46you can also see that this acts as an air brake.
05:49So, again, really tied to the performance of the car itself.
05:55And, of course, this is not just about the exterior,
05:59but the interior is equally exciting.
06:03So, even though this interior was developed with racing in mind,
06:07we ensured every detail was consistent with our Opal Pure experience.
06:14Information is reduced to a minimum.
06:17And using a head-up display,
06:19we allow the driver to keep their eyes on the road.
06:23Uniquely, there are no formal screens.
06:27So, here, additional information is displayed under the IP surface
06:32using the latest LED technology.
06:35Also, the unique single seat not only has a bold graphic,
06:41it's also been developed with light weight in mind.
06:45The seat is split into two
06:47with the lower pad moulded into the chassis
06:49and the top half built into the upper roll cage.
06:53This allows for maximum weight savings.
06:57Also, to optimise ergonomics,
06:59the foot pedals then move towards the fixed driver position,
07:03making this a true driver's car.
07:07So, clearly,
07:09the Opal Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo
07:12is the ultimate expression of the GSE.
07:16But it also strongly hints
07:18at the exciting future of design for Opal.
