While the veterans bring experience, there's also a fresh spark in the squad.
One of those fresh faces is Portuguese-based defender Jerrin Jackie.
The youngster only just made his international debut against Curaçao, but he is eager to prove himself and bring his European experience into the heart of T&T's defense.

00:32You know, it's been a very long time working for this. A dream come true and really, on June, it was a great honour playing for the national team for the first time.
00:42Added to that, his call-up came as a surprise to the former Presentation College standout.
00:46Well, the first time I spoke to the coaches, you know, I really couldn't believe it. I wasn't expecting it at all.
00:53It was just a very, very happy moment for me. I kept smiling days and days after the call and, yeah, it was just really and truly a happy, happy moment.
01:03But with the butterflies out of the way, Jackie gave his assessment of the Curacao match and the one to come against Jamaica.
01:10In the second half, we really came out in the second half and we were on top of the game.
01:15You know, disappointed not to get the victory. That's what we planned for and that's what we really wanted.
01:20But we doxed ourselves off and we go tomorrow, concentrated on the game here in Jamaica.
01:25It's been really good, you know, intense, intense few days of training.
01:30We are preparing really, really, really well and we are confident to go into the game tomorrow and come out with a positive result.
