After a press briefing with Epstein victims on Wednesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) spoke about the need to support Epstein victims and how her advocacy to release all Epstein files is not an attack on President Trump.
00:00How are you doing? So, you heard from these White House officials. They're putting out word that signing on to this discharge petition would be a hostile act viewed by the president. What's your reaction to that?
00:11Right. So, last night I received a flurry of phone calls and text messages. You know, I really like to call out whoever that person is in the administration. They said that in such a cowardice way without saying their name.
00:27And, you know, I think everyone knows I've fought harder for President Trump for years now. And that person has their job because I fought so hard to help him get elected. And this isn't a hostile act towards the administration. The hostile act has been against these women for so many years now.
00:47And the hostile act is covering up for Jeffrey Epstein and everyone else that's been involved in this. And that's the real hostile act. I look forward to talking with President Trump about these women that I've met. I also encouraged him already this morning that he should have these women in the Oval Office. They deserve to be there.
01:07He spoke to him. He spoke to him. Yes, I did. And I told him I'd be happy to set that up, arranging with their attorney by sharing his phone number. What was his reaction to that?
01:18I haven't got an answer back on that, but I'm continuing to encourage him that these are the people that deserve to be in the Oval Office, not any of Jeffrey Epstein's rich, powerful friends that allowed this to happen to them or anyone that may have been a part of it.
01:34And I think that's important. You know, no matter who the president is, no matter who the speaker is, no matter who's in charge and who's in power, the most important thing I can do as a representative serving in the House of Representatives, I serve the American people, I serve Georgia 14, is I work for the people.
01:52And none of those Jeffrey Epstein's buddies or cabal of people that did these horrible things, these women, none of them are in my district that I know of.
02:02So I know the people at home, they want me to fight on this issue.
