00:00I have something in my heart that I think is incredibly important for our country,
00:04and that is to end the toxic fighting in politics.
00:11Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene responds to the social media battle with President Donald
00:16Trump on CNN's State of the Union Sunday morning. On Truth Social, the president posts,
00:22it seemed to all begin when I sent her a poll stating that she should not run for senator
00:26or governor. She was at 12 percent and didn't have a chance. Unless, of course, she had my
00:31endorsement, which she wasn't about to get. Actually, I never had a conversation at all
00:36with the president about running for Senate or running for Georgia, and those were decisions
00:41I came to on my own that I don't want to have anything to do with the Senate.
00:46The congresswoman says the real beef relates to her push to release the Epstein files.
00:50I believe the country deserves transparency in these files, and I don't believe that rich,
00:57powerful people should be protected if they have done anything wrong. And so I'm standing
01:05with the women, and I will continue to do my small part to get the files released.
01:11She tells CNN, in her opinion, America can get back on track if MAGA was to put the American
01:16people first and stop sending foreign aid. And I think that President Trump can do that
01:21if he refocuses his effort. And I think that's what I want to see. I think that's what the
01:26country wants to see. Even if he's attacking me, I do want him to be successful for the American
01:32people. Straight Arrow News has reached out to the White House for comment. For Straight
01:36Arrow News, I'm Jack Henry.
