Marjorie Taylor Greene claims that Donald Trump tried to block the release of the controversial Jeffrey Epstein files. Greene reveals intense pressure from the White House and top officials to suppress the documents, alleging Trump warned that his “friends would get hurt” if the files were made public.

Defying party lines, Greene says she joined Democrats to push for transparency, citing justice for victims as her main motive. Her statements highlight deep political divisions, accusations of cover-ups, and a dramatic fallout within the MAGA movement. The controversy raises serious questions about accountability, power, and the truth behind one of the most infamous scandals in modern history.

00:00Well, talking about another resolution that got blocked more than any other resolution
00:07I've ever seen, it was to release the Epstein files.
00:12So wow, when we started talking about releasing the Epstein files, I'm like, this is a no-brainer.
00:18President Trump will just roll them out on a big cart himself, stacks and stacks and
00:23stacks of the Epstein files because obviously Bill Clinton is all in there and Hillary Clinton
00:30That's what I had been told all along, right?
00:33Well, it was the most shocking thing when I sat in a conference meeting and I learned
00:39that the president didn't want to release the Epstein files.
00:43I was like, what?
00:46Yeah, come to find out he was very much against it.
00:50So we kept on trying and kept on talking about it and then the president told Mike Johnson,
00:56no, do not bring that resolution to the floor for a vote.
00:59He told the Rules Committee and Johnson told the Rules Committee, no, you will not mark
01:03up any bill in the Rules Committee that will allow the Epstein files to be released.
01:09And the resistance built and built and built.
01:12He told Pam Bondi, don't release the Epstein files.
01:15He told everybody, don't release the Epstein files.
01:18So we persisted because that's what we promised.
01:22That's what we campaigned on, transparency and accountability, especially to pedophiles.
01:28How is that complicated?
01:31So it got to be such a gigantic amount of resistance coming from the president and the speaker and
01:40everyone, the DOJ.
01:42I said, fine, I'll do the unthinkable.
01:45I'll go over there and I'll sign my name on a discharge petition that all the Democrats
01:50are signing their name on.
01:52Talk about crossing the aisle.
01:54Me, a general in the MAGA army crossing over to sign my name with a bunch of Democrats.
02:02Yeah, I did.
02:04Because women were raped when they were 16 and 14 years old.
02:10And he was a convicted pedophile and we knew there were many with him.
02:14So I signed my name on the discharge petition.
02:17Oh, did I get my name on the naughty list then?
02:19Let me tell you.
02:21That became a real issue at the White House.
02:25Well, I'll never forget it.
02:27But I was in my office in the Rayburn building and I got a phone call from the president and
02:33he was at the White House and he wanted to talk to me about the discharge petition that
02:38I'd signed my name on.
02:40And he said, Marjorie, you're going to have to take your name off that discharge petition.
02:45The these we can't let this is a hoax.
02:48We can't carry this.
02:49This is a hoax.
02:50It's a Democrat hoax and we've got to just put this away and stop doing this.
02:55And he said, my friends are going to get hurt.
02:59He said his friends would get hurt if we released the Epstein files.
03:04He said, Marjorie, these are good people.
03:07These are people, you know, at Mar-a-Lago, people in Palm Beach, they're going to get hurt
03:12by this.
03:13And I said, Mr. President, people have been hurt.
03:18These women have been hurt.
03:20I said, have you talked to them?
03:22I said, you should talk to them.
03:23You should have them in the Oval Office, Mr. President.
03:26You have everybody in the Oval Office.
03:28You have sports teams.
03:29You have world leaders.
03:31You have Al-Qaeda terrorists that are now leading Syria.
03:34You have Mom Donnie.
03:36I mean, you have everybody in the Oval Office.
03:38Surely you can have these women who were raped as teenagers talk to them.
03:45I talk to them all the time.
03:46As a matter of fact, many of them voted for you.
03:49That's what I told them, they voted for you.
03:53Epstein victims voted for Donald Trump.
03:56And he wouldn't have anything to do with them.
03:58And he told me his friends would get hurt.
04:01And I said, not taking my name off the discharge petition.
04:26Because this crosses party lines.
04:29It crosses, as a matter of fact, it crosses all the lines.
04:33When it comes down to victimizing some of the most innocent people in America, these were young girls that were
04:42teenagers that desperately wanted to be models one day.
04:45They wanted to be seen as beautiful.
04:47They wanted to be rich.
04:49They wanted to be famous.
04:51And, of course, every teenager wants things like that.
04:53And they were victimized by Ghislaine Maxwell and others.
04:58And they were victimized by the richest, most powerful men, not only in our country, but in the world.
05:04And they were used by Jeffrey Epstein as sexual tools for his own satisfaction and his friend's satisfaction.
05:14To actually be asked by the President of the United States to back off and not help these women, that's
05:22when MAGA died.
05:25That's when the entire thing shattered for me.
05:27So I kept my name on.
05:29Then we got, we spent eight weeks shut down.
05:33Remember that?
05:33We spent eight weeks shut down.
05:36By the way, that was to stop the Epstein resolution from getting a House vote.
05:40That's what that shutdown was about.
05:42Finally, they reopened the government.
05:44And a brand new Democrat member of Congress was sworn in.
05:48And we got the 218th signature, released the resolution, passed it overwhelmingly, which was hilarious to me.
05:57Watching all these Republicans, oh, yeah, all of a sudden I'm voting to release the Epstein files.
06:02Which, what a pathetic joke.
06:05Weak men.
06:06Oh, my gosh, they're so weak.
06:07So they vote to pass it.
06:09It flies through the Senate, of course, because no one wants to lose their re-election on voting no.
06:15And then President Trump's hand was forced to sign it.
06:21He didn't sign that because he supported it.
06:23He was forced.
06:24And so we released the Epstein files.
06:27And then I got a truth social dropped on my head like a nuclear bomb where the president called me
06:34a traitor.
06:37And I read that and I thought, a traitor?
06:41Oh, my gosh.
06:42I looked up the definition of traitor.
06:44I looked it up.
06:44I was like, I have to wrap my head around this.
06:48And so a traitor is a traitor to the United States of America.
06:52And I swore an oath to defend our Constitution.
06:56And I really thought about it.
06:58I said, he's not talking about what we think of the definition of traitor.
07:02He's saying I was a traitor to him.
07:06To him.
07:07And that's why I was a traitor to him.
07:09And that's why he was going to support a primary against me.
07:14Just like he's doing to Thomas Massey, which is horrific.
07:19And I looked at that and I thought to myself, this is a badge of honor.
07:24It truly is.
07:26And I thought, I can't, this is so unbelievable to me.
07:30But here's what happened after that.
07:32Not a single Republican defended me.
07:35Not one that I served with.
07:37By the way, I had paid all my dues to the NRCC, every Congress, and supported all of them.
07:43And endorsed many of them.
07:44And donated money to them.
07:46And helped them get re-elected.
07:48And I had spent millions of my own dollars campaigning all over the country for President Trump.
07:53Think about that.
07:54But I was a traitor doing what we promised to do.
07:58I was the traitor.
08:00But no one defended me.
08:02Not one person.
08:02And I said, oh my goodness.
08:04How can I continue to serve under this president and serve in a body of Congress
08:09where not a single person is willing to say, Mr. President, Marjorie's not a traitor.
08:15She helped you get elected.
08:17But then, guess what happened?
08:19I started getting death threats.
08:21And it was about me being called a traitor.
08:24It was, you're a traitor.
08:26You deserve to die.
08:27You're a traitor.
08:28We're going to kill you.
08:29You're a traitor.
08:30But it was the one that came in and they kept coming on my son, my youngest, my baby boy.
08:39We're going to snuff out his life.
08:42We're going to put a bullet in his head.
08:45Marjorie Trader Green.
08:47So I sent those to the president.
08:51Texted him directly.
08:53I also sent them to Susie Wiles and James Blair.
08:56And I also sent them to the vice president, J.D. Vance, Kash Patel.
09:01I sent them to all these people.
09:03I got no response from Susie Wiles.
09:06None.
09:07And she's a mother and a grandmother and a woman.
09:10I got no response from James Blair because he only cares about making money on campaigns.
09:16I did hear from Kash Patel.
09:18He said on it.
09:19But I haven't heard from him since.
09:23I don't know what he's on.
